IMHO a sliding time of 9:30 - 10:30 ( assuming a noon box office opening ) depending on how close to sold out the show is
I rushed yesterday. Got to box office around 8:30 and was 7th in line. By the time the box office opened at 10:00, there were about 40 or so people in line.
I got mezz right row H. Great view, great show! Betsy was fantastic!
Reviving this thread because I'm curious as to if there is still rush now that Jason Marz is on, and what time people have been arriving? Also, does anyone know if Jason Marz stagedoors?

*Mraz (Sorry. It was bothering me.)
There is still rush, but I'm told the number of tickets has been reduced to 14. As for what time people have been arriving, I'm not sure. I was unsuccessful today.

What time did you arrive at the box-office unsuccessfully?
Reviving this because I intend to rush this show on the 19th for the Sunday matinee, What's a good time to arrive? I don't think I can arrive before 11 but I can if necessary.

I can share my experience! I've rushed on Saturday, arrived at 7:45 and was 7-8th in line. In less than two minutes 5 or 6 more people joined the line. I was freezing and literally thought it won't be worth such struggle. But I got orchestra seat, though a very last row, for the Evening. And it was a BLAST! Jason was funny and charming, I loved his presence on stage. And Stephanie Torns, u/s Jenna, was wonderful too.

So you only needed a single seat?
Do you happen to know what seat location(s) the front few people received?

Yep, just one.
No idea. I had no interest, honestly. Especially after freezing for two hours.
I stopped by Saturday around 5:30pm happened to be in the area. Of course there were no rush but they were close to selling out. There were only 2 people in line for SRO when I went next door for a drink. Came back an hour later and there were 7 people in line but 9 tickets accounted for. Decided to skip since I was with a friend but it seemed promising for the future.
I rushed on 11/5, the Saturday after Jason Mraz's debut performance. I had arrived at 6am, fully expecting a few people to be in line already, and no one was there. The first people came around 7am. At 8am, I remember I was surprised that there were still only 6 people behind me - but shortly after that, it grew more steadily. I went to the matinee, and was seated the far left box — I believe I got the last box seats available.
In case anyone is rushing this show on a weekday, I rushed yesterday (Friday). I arrived at 7am and was alone until 7:30am. At 8am there were only 3 people behind me. By 8:30 there were maybe 9/10 people behind me. By 9 the line was easily 25-30 people. I was surprised on a Friday and with Mraz in the show that the line didn’t start earlier. But as the person above me said, now’s the time to go before the schools let out for the holidays.
So above me was Friday. I posted this in a different thread, but this seems like a better spot for it.
Saturday 12/2 rush: I got the very last two Waitress rush tickets for today (Saturday, so a 2-show day). I got there at ~8:45. I asked the people at the front of the line and heard that there were like 6 people there by 6:30am. I didn’t ask beyond that. I was roughly the 24th person in line or so. It seemed like there were 20 tickets per show, and no SRO yet. 0 tickets after me for either show. So 8:45 cut off.
How hard do you think it will be to get rush tickets for Betsy's last day, but the matinee? I'm thinking the evening may be more popular since it is her last show, but I am trying to gauge how early I'll need to get there. Now that Jason extended his run, it won't be his last day, and it is right before Sara Bareilles starts.....

Do it NOW before colleges let out for the holidays!
Thank you! I'm going tomorrow morning so I'll report back just to keep this up to date.

On the day Ben Platt left DEH, I arrived to the line at 10:30 and got a nice front mezz row B seat. It's not too difficult, people behind me got in as well.

Her last show is on a Tuesday. There's only one show. It'll be the first full week that everyone is back in school after the holidays so I don;t imagine it'll be too terrible, but being that it's her last show I'm not so sure.
I got standing room last night. I got there around 5:40 and was second in line. They sold the tickets around 6:25.

What sort of seats did you and the other pre-8AM'ers get?
