The audience for this show is pretty awful. When I saw it last month, a woman took a phone call in the middle of Bynum’s big monologue. This was in the front orchestra.

I was there the first night. It was my first time ever at Shakespeare in the Park. It was long. It was three hours and it felt like three hours. A lot of people left at intermission. People were leaving throughout the second half. It was over around 11:10pm. Then they had a real wedding after.
I did the in-person lottery at the Public. Everyone got a ticket.

I tried Bucatini last weekend for the first time over on 45th and 5th. It was very good. Service was attentive. Food was excellent.

Shutdown specials happen for every government shutdown. It can be anything from all-day Happy Hour, discount sporting event tickets, theatre tix, free pastries or coffee, etc.

My friend and I were upgraded from the balcony to the orchestra as well. August is very empty in DC due to Congress being out of session. This originally had other dates and was moved to August

I rushed on Saturday. Got there at 8:15am. Second person didn’t arrive until 9am. I had evening- my ticket was for 4th row center orchestra on the aisle. Matinee seats weren’t as great.
