What do you think the chances are of WWRY on Boradway. Did they opt out Broadway for Vegas? Wil it still open up on Broadway?

I can't see it coming to Broadway any time soon. While I am a huge fan of the show (saw it in London & Vegas), I don't think they have plans to bring it here. I think a major dilema is that it's a very elaborate show with what many might call a book that is below Broadway standards. Being a huge classic rock fan as well as theater fan, I ate it up. As much as I am hoping and praying myself for it to come to Bway, I don't see it happening anytime soon, if at all.

I,m also hoping, but doubtful that WWRY will come to NY. Does anyone think that maybe a tour or another production (like Atlantic City, or something of the like) is possible?

It was a rockin' show. Both Jason Wooten and Tony Vincent were phenomenal.

A Canadian company is opening in Toronto in March 2007. As it stands right now, that is an open run but rumours of a national tour have been floating around.

Joey Calveri was phenominal as Galileo in Vegas, I would love to see him do it again.

Originally they did opt out of Broadway for the Vegas production. The producers felt Vegas could house the difficult set better than a broadway theeater. the WWRY Theater is also quite large.

Yes they are opening in Toronto, and still going strong in London. But no there will not be a Broadway Production. So let's hope for a national tour

Now all I see are cute boys with short haircuts in a maze of their own...

Would travel all the way to New York to see it if it went there! Hope Tony vincent would do the opening night or someone like Alex Jessop or Mig Ayesa.

Ok, I am NOT a fan of Jukebox musicals. Of the ones I've seen/heard/read about "Mamma Mia" (It was fluffy fun) and this show are the only two I have EVER liked. In part b/c WWRY makes fun of itself AND the current state of music in society. That and any show featuring the death of Brittney Spears is fun.
