DAMMIT! I just bought my crappy tickets today.
Maybe I'll swing by there the day-of (2/7) and see if there are two singles that are great orchestra views - the price of purchasing a good $20 orchestra seat plus my crappy $20 balcony seat is still cheaper than purchasing a good $50 orchestra seat in advance.

So what's the ticket price range for the Broadway run?
Also, Tiff, I'm pretty it's like 90% all original songs. At least that's what I gather from the demo. George might end up singing some Culture Club and then there's "Grow Old With Me" from the movie... but overall, it's mostly originals.

The ticket range for Broadway is $56 for the last 2 rows of the Mezz. and $110 for all other seats!
Pretty steep, huh?

Posted: 1/26/06 at 1:00pmWell, if you had the AmEx code, I don't think it matters if you needed another credit card. The code ASSUMES you have a card, and the "benefit" is for cardholders only. If the charge went through then you're fine.

"Well, if you had the AmEx code, I don't think it matters if you needed another credit card."
When I ordered my tickets, it didn't ask for a code--it wasn't a "Gold Card Event", just an American Express thing. It only gave ONE payment option and that was Amex.

re: Wedding Singer Ticket Drama#33
Posted: 1/26/06 at 6:15pmI got Row K, 10-16. I'm sure I could have gotten better seats if I were only getting 1 or 2 tickets, but I had to get for the whole family because we're going for my younger brother's birthday (he loved the movie, and as soon as he heard that Stephen Lynch was playing the lead role in the show he insisted that we take him to see it).

Posted: 1/27/06 at 7:59pmI actually was online to purchase tickets in Seattle the morning they went on sale only to find the best available seats were rows x-z so I passed. The other night I thought I'd check for tickets and put in the date of Feb.5th not realizing it was Super Bowl day. Up comes 2 center orchestra seats in the very first row. I snatched them up but out of curiosity I went back and entered "best available seats" for the same performance and up comes row B center. Then I realized why all of a sudden seats were available due to people forgetting the game was the same day and then cancelling their tickets as subscribers are allowed to do. So if you're in the area I'd suggest checking out that date...unless the Super Bowl is more important than the American musical theatre...LOL

I got two tickets for the July 12th evening show, Row B Seats 101 and 102. My question is, for anyone familiar with the Hirschfeld, how these seats are? Now obviously they're close, but I know some theaters, the front is very in your face and obstructed, while others it is fine. Can anyone help me out?
