Hello theatre friends!
I cannot believe I am writing this right now, but a good friend of mine from Arizona canceled her annual theatre trip to New York this week due to coronavirus: Saturday, March 7 - Friday, March 13.
The shows, seats, and ticket prices are posted here, and I will update as I sell, but in all, I am hoping to recoup as much as possible, so let me know if you are interested (OBO), and I will see what I can do!

I would contact the source the tickets were purchased from. Under the circumstances, they may be willing to offer refunds or gift certificates.

I agree with DollyPop. Definitely contact the ticket seller; I'm sure under these circumstances they will be issuing people refunds or exchanges.

I’m an avid theatre goer, but unfortunately I’m abstaining for now, I can’t put my elderly parents at risk 😩

Thank you for this suggestion. I had a trip scheduled for March 12-15, with tickets purchased for Company, Moulin Rouge, Hadestown, and La Traviata at the Met. I've been on the fence all week, but I just don't feel comfortable going due to my compromised immune system, as well as the fear of getting caught up in a quarantine/isolation situation away from home.
@Dollypop, Hairspray0901: thank you for the notes! I purchased them at the box office to avoid service fees, so I feel hopeless approaching the box office with this request... Thoughts?
@tomwsjr: completely understand! Stay well.

I could be wrong but, as long as you have the receipt with your order number, you should still be able to get your money back or exchange them. Even if you don't have your receipt, if you have the tickets you should be able to read the ticket number/provide the card number you purchased with. I'd call Telecharge/Ticketmaster for bway shows. can't hurt.
@Hairspray0901: Thank you! I really appreciate this advice — I will certainly try calling first thing tomorrow.
If you bought them at the box office, they are the only people that can help you, as far as I know.

Telecharge Customer Service issued a full refund on the ticket to Company. Ticketmaster has requested refunds for Moulin Rouge and Hadestown, and I should have an answer within 48 hours. The Metropolitan Opera gave me an account credit for future tickets good throughout the 2020-21 season. So anyone else in this situation should definitely call.
Not sure if any else is in this boat and/or is curious, but this was my morning:
Telecharge: as predicted, was not able to refund the tickets via telephone, as they were purchased at the box office
Box Offices: I made a trip to the box offices and was able to secure refunds on Come From Away, Hangmen, The Inheritance, and The Minutes. Be sure to have all versions of identification (original credit card and tickets). Also, bring a government issued ID just in case! I was never asked for more than the original card used for payment, but two of the three theatres did ask if I was the owner of the card, and had I hesitated, I am sure they would have requested it.
I did not attempt To Kill a Mockingbird, Lehman Trilogy, or Harry Potter, as I have friends who are interested, etc., but I am assuming at least Mockingbird would have let me return the tickets (as they are in the "Telecharge" family), but I can not speak for the "Ticketmaster" family (Lehman and Harry Potter)
Hope this helps — stay healthy!

This is a HUGE help. Thank you! I have six shows lined up March 16-20. Haven't yet decided what to do. Worried more about getting quarantined out of town than about actually getting the virus as that could happen anywhere.

That was the deciding factor for me. It just wasn't worth the risk.
