Ugh, there’s nothing worse than having to sit through a Toderik Hall musical. Well, it would be worse if he was actually staring in it.

The Last Ship at the Met
For what it’s worth, i like most critics, felt the original Broadway production was a complete bore, despite a few good songs. I was thinking of giving it another chance at the Met, but a friend of mine just saw it and said it was a complete waist of his time. I’m skipping it.

THE RESERVOIR at Atlantic Theatre Co
Unfortunately, this was a major disappointment. The writing felt amateurish, the stereotypes were tired, and the overall look and tone seemed dated and uninspired. I had high expectations given the talented supporting cast, but even they couldn’t elevate what ultimately turned out to be a dud.

I also saw it over the weekend and was very impressed. In my opinion, this cast is the strongest since the move to the Ambassador Theatre.Do you know when Kate, Robyn, and Alex’s final performances are scheduled?

Snubbed but not forgotten - Tony Awards appreciation for unsung cast & creatives
In my opinion, the biggest snub was not nominating David Thaxton for his outstanding performance in Sunset Blvd. (best supporting actor in a musical).

Little Shop...Who Leads? Anyone know?
I generally like Kerry Butler as an actress, but her performance as Audrey in the Broadway revival Little Shop ranks as one of the worst I’ve ever seen on Broadway. She played the role like a Disney princess, with no depth or grit, it really was terrible.
