Yes, but lately a lot of ticket sales have started going online early. I know I'm not the only person who has lost out because of it. Roundabout and Lincoln Center, for example. I didn't want to miss out, so I've been checking in every ten minutes or so since about 11am.
I'll be out town for Christmas.
Ahh... yeah, I hit that issue once with City Center. Whole house was onsale early for no reason.

There are plenty of tickets available at the end of September for full-price. Are you really looking?
I'm sorry for anyone who did not see the CheapTix but they were indeed there at noon, exactly. Grabbed two in Row G no issue for first performance and there were plenty to choose from in Row H-L.

There were just a few cheap tix available again, I guess many people had similar people as me.
I figured out the glitch. You can't login first. Have to log out, add tickets then follow the steps. I managed to buy one. I'm going to release the one still in my cart now. Good luck!

I decided to check again and saw that the second show was no longer listed as Sold Out, but I must have just missed it again by the time I clicked it. Ah, well.

If you still have stuff in your cart and can't complete the checkout process, you might still be OK!
I called the box office and they acknowledged some glitches with the site today, but they can do it over the phone now.

GreasedLightning, do you mean November? Not September.
I got on a few minutes before noon and got a pair for the second preview. It was very stressful though. They need to come up with a better system. Apparently they are still releasing tickets so keep checking.
Oops! I meant December. Thanks for catching that.
Successfully snagged one for the first preview! :)

Even though I wasn't able to get the cheap tix, I think NYTW handled everything remarkably well today.
If someone was having a problem online, they were more than happy to assist over the phone. They even let me exchange my original ticket when a more convenient date opened up.
Every performance now is sold out, according to the website. I had forgotten all about this going on sale today and now we won't be able to see it during our trip in November. Dang I'm bummed

But they were NOT "more than happy to assist over the phone". Because until about 12:45, the phone lines were forwarding to voicemail (or at least in the 10 attempts I made to call) and saying the box office was not yet open.

What an entitled attitude. Given that it sounds like the website was glitching, they must've had hundreds of phone calls. How many people exactly do you think they employ to answer them? It's only physically possible to handle so many requests at a given time. They were doing the best they could, I'm sure. It's theatre, it's not life or death, some of you really need to relax. As is almost always true, I'm sure more seats will open up as holds get released and as folks exchange/return for whatever reason. Everybody take a breath.
It also seems impossible that the show will just wrap up on December 27. Why close in one of the busiest weeks?!

Crap. I checked their website periodically but never saw an on-sale date and every performance is sold out. If anyone ends up with 1 or more extra tickets, please let me know!
