A friend of mine told me about the $20 tickets before -- it's really great that they do that.
Pardon my obliviousness. I thought JRybka lived in NYC.
I have no doubt that this production will be recorded for PBS Great Performances.
What's this about $20 tickets? Is it only for students?
I'm planning a trip to NYC the last week of April, and was planning on keeping an eye out for discounts.

Too bad I'm too old to take advantage.

I'm seeing it January 27th!
So, can you only get one ticket at that price? Do you need to go alone then?
I'm going to the second preview. I can't wait!
Blaxx: If you are going with someone else with Hiptix, you can link accounts to buy tickets together...or something like that.
Oh, thanks just, just read that part.
C-c-can't wait to see this.
I wants some bwwer reviews!
SO STOKED!
I'm front row center for April 19th -
So I have yet another ticketing question. Would it be better for me to do rush/student rush on the day of, or should I go with hiptix? The $5 difference doesn't really matter, I just want a chance at better seats and aren't hiptix tickets for seats in like, the rear mezz?
From the website: "There are no set seating arrangements. You will be seated in selected seating for HIPTIX members which will vary according to production and availability. To ensure an orchestra seat, join our HIPTIX Gold program!
HIPTIX GOLD costs $75 per year and you can "Order tickets through the HIPTIX GOLD hotline, where you will be guaranteed two ORCHESTRA SEATS to all shows available to HIPTIX members"
Sorry to bump but if anyone is interested, please pm me.
I have an extra ticket that I wont be able to use for next Sunday, Jan 27 at 2:00. It's rear mezz, row KK. It's $30.

You New Yorkers are SO lucky to get this production. I cried my eyes out in London, but am a bit worried about the theatre. Isn't Studio 54 too big for this?
No worries, you will have a blast with this one....
so everybody who is going on 2/9 are you going to the matinee or night performance I am going to the night one...I am also going on April 19th third row matinee
I'm selling a ticket for this Sunday's performance at 2pm...row B, seat 113 (in the mezz). I bought it for $72, but I really need to get rid of it, so I'm willing to negotiate the price a bit. PM me if you're interested!
HIPTIX seats are always located in the Rear Mezzanine, unless you're a HIPTIX Gold member, in which case you're seats are always in the side Orchestra.
I'm a HIPTIX Gold member. Back when I joined, it was only $60 for a year (plus I got a free ASSASSINS cast recording for joining), but even at $75 (and now I believe they give you a free PAJAMA GAME cast recording for joining), I'd say it's still absolutely worth it. Plus, it is 100% tax deductible, so you get the money back at the end of the year anyway.
For PYGMALION, I was in Row E Left Orchestra on the aisle.
Now for real, WELCOME BACK to the show a lot of us would have died to see on Broadway and now we'll have the chance to!
I am sooo thrilled for this revival. February 10th can't get here soon enough. Everyone who goes tonight is responsible for creating a review thread.

I got my dead-last row seat ticket in the mail yesterday and I am beyond excited for this production! I don't care that I'm far away, as long as I'm in the theater for it.
Please look after Jenna over there for me, she's a dear friend of mine, wiil be over to see her in 3 weeks.
*dances*
Cannot wait for tonight.

I was able to catch the invited dress last night and all I can say is BEAUTIFUL! I have been very excited to see this production and it delivered in spades!
Daniel Evans and Jenna Russell were amazing and you could feel the energy shooting off them in so many of their numbers. "Move On" and "Sunday" brought goose bumps. I would highly recommend this piece to anyone!
