I swear I didn't just listen to them both. I listened to the movie version first, and I was going to say I herd more emotion, but then I listened to the OBC, and there are just some parts that are full of emotion...I can't say which one I like better...

BTW...fave songs? What You Own, Halloween, LVB, and I have a soft spot for Contact, and then Glory...then, everything else...haha

Contact will always hold a special place in my heart. Hehe

I would start to list them, but then you'll just have the entire thing. I'm going to start blasting Christmas Bells. They think they can play Dominic the Donkey and other generic songs about Christmas?! Well, then I can just blast that. Well, it's not like I haven't done it before...all year long...I just love it.

I love Contact, and Christmas Bells is one of my favorite favorite songs. I hold a special place in my heart for the songs cut from the movie :)

wanna hear the stupidest thing ever. So this girl who originally told me that she wanted to see rent cause Idina Menzel plays Maureen and that she doesn't care about RENT, she just wants to see Idina.. comes up to me today and says OMG my friend is ruining RENT for me. She keeps on singing the songs just cause she saw the movie once. I was like you poor thing.. (me obviously being sarcastic).

They did have some spoken parts of the songs, including that line. Which I completely adore.:

"I'm giving up my vices. I'm going back to school."
"Bond, James Bond. And Pussy Galore, in person."

Though I miss terribly: "That's shaken, not stirred!" And they couldn't have quite a bit from it because they changed how they got back into the apartment. (But, it's done great in the movie).

Well, he just had different, slightly dressy (dressy for Mark) clothes on...but he went to Buzzline because when they got back to the loft, ALL of their stuff was gone...so I'm just wondering where he got the clothes.

I love that song too! I also like Halloween, but I took a bathroom break during the movie so I missed it and I thought it wasn't in the movie, but my friend said it was because Mark sings it after Angel dies or something like that. During La Vie Boheme, how come they took out Joanne and Maureen lines "Is the equipment in a pyramid? Yes Maureen" etc, and just replaced it with music? La Vie Boheme was still amazing though! I didn't really like "You'll See". It just seemed slower in the movie for some reason than on the Broadway soundtrack.

Hiiiiii guys! Oy, school sucked. But this thread makes me mucho-happy. Hmmm... fave song... that's really, really hard for me to say. I know it sounds stupid, but I really do love them all. Tune Ups are the most played songs on my iPod... but I absolutely adore LVB, WYO, Another Day, Glory, LMC, Tango and Without You. See, that's like, every song in the show. Oh well. I'm a Renthead. That sort of thing is allowed.

Okay, anyway, dragging my mom to see the movie tonight... refresh my memory, guys, what else should I look for besides Wax Lion?


Actually, I gotta go to dance now. Blarrrgh. Exactly what I don't feel like doing... so... tired... *snaps out of it* Bye guys!
