I thought the Roger in the NYTW was terrible. I'd get passed singing it better then he did and my voice isn't good at all.

I couln't stand the Maureen they had.
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

Someone else bugged me in the NYTW but I forget who. I think it was the person playing Collins but I'm not quite sure.

Yeah, that Maureen had a really deep voice. She reminded me of the president of the fashion club on Daria.
Is that Neil Patrick Harris?

I don't think that's opening night. He was wearing different clothes then. Unless he pulled another Bryant Park clothes change for no good reason.

Yeah, I can't watch that with my parents. Did "fantabulous" seem a bit like the beginning of Music Man to anyone else?

I <3 those clips from Open House. My mom actually went out tonight and picked up my copy from Borders! Yay!
I actually got "Fantabulous" converted from that site a bit ago so I can watch that video in full screen on my computer.

My constant nagging got the video store near me to get it in stock. (it'll be in in about 3 or 4 days). Maybe that'd work for you, too?

I should ask for "David Searching" for Christmas from my conservative relatives. Who thinks that'll go over well? Ha.

Would they even know what it is? My parents don't even know about "Kissing Jessica Stein".

Wow. My bandwidth just died on photobucket, so I had to pay 9 dollars to get more. *sigh*
Open House looks crazy. Hopefully I can keep a straight face while watching.

StageWhore:
There are three sex scenes in the movie ("Do You Love This House?" and its reprises. Thank you to gertrudejessalynn for the clip.) (Edit: Ok, this part of the post is a little late. This is what I get for being a slow typer.)
I do recommend seeing this movie. As Anthony said, it is VERY silly. I got quite a kick out of it. It was also great to see Jerry Doyle in something again.
And I would like to give a bravo to Anthony for his performance of the song "It's My House." His voice and this song are a perfect match. Sadness with a touch of humor and craziness. (To get an idea, think of Anthony's character in Far From Home.)
Warning: The song, "Sexy Swiper," gets stuck in your head. So does "Fantabulous," but you guys already know that.

Would they even know what it is?
I'd say my relatives are nosy enough to look it up.
Oooh, thanks for the extra info on "Open House." Seeing as I'm at college, I won't get to see it til at least Sunday. And the one line I've heard Anthony sing of "It's my House" makes me happy. (It's on Open House's website... I can find a link if someone wants it.)

Hey crazy kids! Random question... did anyone else watch (or attempt to watch) Jesse on Tony Danza? Maybe it was just in my area, but they cut into the first half of the show--and all but about 20 seconds of Jesse's interview--to show Bush talking! That's the antithesis of Jesse. Stupid monkey. Did they show his speech everywhere?
What happened to Andrae?

Gertrude, what college do you go to?
And renthead, maybe it'll be posted online somewhere.
