I thought he was gay, but he just preferred to be called queer, for reasons I have forgotten. Hmm, it's something to do research on while procrastinating, I suppose.
yea hes gay but he likes to be called queer, I just found a website with a bunch of his quotes and he calls himself queer
he said he was bi i believe. but ive never read about him ever having a girlfriend. hmmm
Hi all...I've been away for vacation, but am back:)
Dramatic..I also read somewhere that he is bisexual...there was this interview he did with his father that mentioned it, I think. The interview link is buried somewhere in the depths of this thread:) I always assumed that he was gay, not bi, but maybe he will clarify it for us sometime.
The last PM I got from Anthony was on 12/14..it was the night of the infamous Golden Globes thread when he was defending himself and the film..it got really nasty because everyone ended up attacking him personally, and I sent him a PM that night to make him feel a little better:) I haven't seen him on at all since then...hopefully he comes back soon...

Perhaps he had a girlfriend before AiB, who knows.
Skater: I hope he comes on, too. I'm new to Broadwayworld, and I have yet to see him post. I sent him a PM, bombarding him with many questions on his views on acting. Hopefully I didn't sound too...reporter-ish. :)

*shrugs* I only heard that he was bi through word of mouth- it doesn't matter, really. I do think that he was really kissing that girl in AiB, which is the topic this whole discussion sprouted from.
The Producers isn't playing at my theater I mean, I was suspicious about seeing it, but *why* isn't it playing?
does he even awnser pms anymore, I mean when he was on
back to this whole dancing when LVB comes on:
the second time i saw it, i was alone in the theater. yes, alone in the theater. best thing ever (not to mention that the ticket was only a whopping $4.50! but anyway) i was singing super loud and dancing. i'm pretty sure that if someone walked in, they would have thought i was out of my mind.. which i probably am ;]
just wanted to throw that out there
let me do more homework ;x ugh
look what I found:
Although Rapp has had his share of relationships with both men and women, he calls his current boyfriend the "love of my life.
Ok, I found the article:)

Hmmm, that article says that he came out to himself at age 19; after AiB.
And whyhelloheart, I'm sooo jealous! $4.50.
Bad thing about living in New York: my movie tickets cost $10.75. Yes, $10.75. Highway robbery.

Finally we can put that topic to rest.
And I would hope he answers PMs, because I have not found his address, which has disappointed me greatly. But I had found Adam Pascal's. :)
whyhelloheart: Lucky!
Ohh me and anthony love angels in america yessss
Also in response to LVB: first time I saw it (early screening w. Anthony) everyone was dancing a little bit, but we didn't want to miss anything in the movie so it was very subdued. The second time I saw it with my family and no one else was there so I danced a lot. Third time there were people there so I didn't dance. Fourth time there were even more people there but I danced and sang anyway. I think the old people across the aisle were not happy. Too bad.
thanks for the article, its like impossible to find anything in this thread :P
WHAT?! $10.75!
please!
dramatic, how many times did you see the movie?!
i guess i would only be able to afford to see it once hahah
the first time i saw it, which was in a mall movie theater, it was $9.50 which is still a little high for my taste
come to jersey and go to the movies for $4.50! wuddup wuddup ;]
Yay, Jersey:)
No problem, I'm glad to be of service with the article. At least it clears that question up!

Man, I used to live in Jersey!
Stupid Boston, for high prices. Ours were near $10, too.
But try comparing that to the price of tickets for Broadway.
Of course, I imagine Broadway is way better.
yea i would hope theres not obnoxious 13 year old girls at rent on broadway groaning "oh my god ANOTHER SONG?!?!?!"

opiv: Poor you.
I'm thirteen (nearly!), and speaking for my...people, I apologize.
"NOT ANOTHER SONG?!"
You wonder why they call it a musical.
Well yes, Broadway is definately better!!! I haven't gotten anyone complaing about another song (it's a musical, duh) but on Broadway you don't get an unsher walking in front of you every 5 minutes. GRRR.
well, im only 15. it just seems that 15 year old girls are the victims of being obnoxious at movies. hehe ya i probably am. but not at rent! i was about to scream at my friend when she tried talking to me during it

I'm seeing it on Broadway this February...hopefully. Right after I buy the DVD. <3
Say, are there any RENT shows left with the original cast?

My friend and I didn't really talk during the movie, but during some of the songs we turned to each other and started mouthing the words, especially during La Vie Boheme. :)
