I won't be able to see the tour. Wrong coast. I saw the revival on Broadway though.
Anyways, about the whole meeting celebities thing, its propbably how we build up these images of people in our mind and in some ways we don't think of them in the most realalistic terms. I was pretty good when I met Tonya Pinkins after I sa Caroline or Change, and probably a funny site while I met Stephen Schwartz, but that probably adds up to the mood I was in, and the surrounding circumstances. I would like to think I'd be more composed now, when talking to someone.
I was listening to the OBCR of Rent, and it was the first time listening since Anthony and Fredi came to the board, and I was able to have a slightly different outlook on it.
Sorry if I sound stupid, but what does OBC or OBCR mean? I'm so confused, but maybe it's because I haven't seen Rent yet? I know that's shocking, I'm like the only one on earth. Hopefully in January or March.
Ok thanks, I shortly realized that after I made this post, and by the way y'all are crazy, but that's cool because normal is boring. I love the flaming smiley face. lol
It's very late and my brain is a wee bit fried after a long long day (so fried that there was more than one moment onstage in Little Shop where I felt like I was going to forget the next lyric coming out of my mouth) but I wanted to just post a little word about today before hitting the sack.
We did a little presentation of our work thus far to the producers, who seemed overall very pleased. It's wild the amount of powerful sound that can come out of a group of five singers.
I got to rehearse more fully the tango steps that Tracie and I are learning (which will be more traditionally Argentine than the ones from the stage version), which was helpful because it's *tough*. And I got to enjoy watching Tracie kick ass in Take Me or Leave Me (although without Idina, which was strange) and Rosario tear it up in Out Tonight.
And you should *hear* the way that Adam's and Rosario's voices blend in I Should Tell You. Amazing already, and it will only get better.
Can I just say for the record that I will *never* grow tired of singing or listening to any of these songs?
I really wish Idina and Jesse and Taye were already out here with us. But we won't all be together until after the new year. Ah well...
I just keep getting more and more excited about this every day. I kind of need to find a hobby, or I'm going to explode before November. It sounds amazing. I wish I could be a fly on the wall, or that I had a few thousand dollars to bid on that ridiculous auction. Damn tuition.
Keep breaking that leg!
PS: it's really exciting to find out that someone else is awake right now...even if you are three hours earlier. :p

That is so great to know Anthony. I personally can't wait till it comes out and hear this great sound you speak of. Goodnight though and sleep well. And don't work yourself to hard.
And Lael, it's california baby. What do you expect. J/K (is californian...)

Oh, and good luck with that tangoing! What, isn't that bit in "Mushnik and Son" preparation enough? Just kidding...but it was very enjoyable to watch. Hee hee.
(and you're not the only one who never gets tired of those songs, believe me! Although I think you have a bit more chance to get tired of them...)

My cds have become scratched up because I listened them to often untill I got the mp3 player to work. I shouldn't be getting this excited already, I wont be able to see it for a year.
Well anyways, have fun tangoing, and thanks for still posting with your busy schedule.
