Thanks for your answer, Beka, but I guess I wasn't clear. What I meant to ask was whether the rehearsals were just for music or whether any dialog or staging was being done too.

Superman has returned for a brief moment to let us know the dealio, but again he has dashed away. We'll miss you Anthony, until next time. Good luck with your shows. ALL of them.
If I may add my two cents, I hope Halloween is the chosen song. That's like my ultimate fav song of all And it deserves to be on there. ^__^

"is LSOH doing anything for BC/EFA"
Well, I read over at CB that they're doing buckets and Anthony has been announcing a certain little auction at eBay as well...
Feel free anyone who actually knows first-hand to correct or augment...
"I'm enjoying reading your speculations."
Is everyone that far off? (I'm just kidding..a little giddy late night sarcasm as I've almost been up for 24 hours...I should go to sleep...just.need.to.review.huck.finn.one.last.time...)
Halloween would be nice, among other songs (which I can't recall really quickly)...I am very curious to know what makes a triumphant return though...
*Another Mark fan I am, I'll confidently admit it...*
I'll miss the tune-ups, especially the first one I think (and the second... but especially the first)...but the movie can't be identical to the stage version and I understand removals...
NYTW songs to come back'd be interesting...but for some reason I'm doubting it (gut feeling..I don't know... it's possible...but..hmm...)
Good night all ye eastcoasters! (and I guess I can say, too, this to westcoasters and those in between...)
Sweet dreams : )
EDIT: response to below, because i didn't feel like making a new post and i'm really on my way to sleep for good-- at least class starts for you at 8.30--our first class is 7.51 and thats when the second bell rings, so you best be in school by 7.46 at latest... when will they get that hs-ers need more sleep, even if it means ten, fifteen minutes lol...
Goodnight for good to everyone everywhere (well, except for the other side of the world--in your case good morning... sorry...I'm starting to get more nervous about the english test I have in about seven point five hours...)

Pah. Sleep is for the weak! And...well, I've got class at 8:15, so it should really be for me, too. Damn. Good night, all ye West-coasters! To dreamland I go...(yeah right, I'm still jet-lagged from Thanksgiving break)

Yes LSOH is doing fundraisers for Broadway cares.. They are doing lobby buckets after the show as well as promoting the auction on ebay.. There is also this fun little live auction they are doing at the end of the show. A prop that was used in that performance gets auctioned off to the highest bidder starting at $50. Anthony then autographs said prop and the winner gets a picture with him..
Last week there was a really rude man that mumbled something *which I shall not repeat* as he got up in the middle of Anthony's speach about the fund raising and left.. It was so horrible.. If it wasn't inappropriate I would have smacked the guy.. If you aren't interested fine leave, but leave quietly..

Hey all --
To calm a couple of you down: "Your Eyes" has been in the screenplay all along, at least the version(s) I've seen...
We're doing singing and a bit of staging right now. Soon I anticipate we will be getting into the dialogue scenes (which will *not* have rhyming lines in them, I can assure you of that!), but we need to solidify the song choices asap because recording starts in a couple of weeks.
I look forward to today's work, though, and will share what I can.
I hope you understand, but if the studio found out I was giving away "secrets" I could get in big trouble; that's the reason for my being cryptic.
Take care --
Anthony

Cryptic is good... keeps at least a *few* things open to the element of surprise.
Thank you for sharing what you can, though.

Oh, man, I spent the entire auction (it was the bloody gloves Seymour uses when he chops up the dentist that day) begging my Dad to bid. I spent all my money on the tickets, so it was my only hope...but no luck. *pouts* I wanted them so bad! Oh, well.
Edit: Too bad I didn't sleep last night, and accidentally responded to an outdated topic instead of waking up and reading things properly, eh?

That would be you Lael. Go to bed. No really don't, I'm just kidding. We've still got lots of stuff to write like right now. hehe.
Hey Anthony,
I think cryptic is great, and I don't think you should give us any spoilers for the movie, cuz it'll only make the movie that much more sweeter for us the viewer/fans. We already know who's in it, and the basic concept of the movie, but the wait will be worth so much if we as fans had no idea what to expect. Well, that my opinion. Thanks for letting me say my say.

Anthony, I'm entirely fine with you being 'cryptic'. This is a public board and we are a bunch of strangers. I understand that you aren't going to tell us everything and really, I'm glad. I don't want to know every detail before I see it. Thanks for confirming Your Eyes and taking the time to post these things. It's really kind of you to take time out of your insane schedule and reassure a bunch of nuts on the internet.

Hey Anthony,
Who in the cast has been at the SF rehearsals? You've mentioned rosario, tracie, adam, and yourself. i'm thinking that the other principals are still busy with their other projects. is that right? if so, when do you expect to be rehearsing with taye, jesse, etc?
hope rehearsal went well. thanks for all the updates.

Cryptic is wonderfully fine! Any updates are appreciated and I know I'll probably thank you in every post following one, as everyone else is as well and as deserved...)
We don't want you to get in trouble!
(which will *not* have rhyming lines in them, I can assure you of that!)
That's good to hear... I wouldn't think that anyone would put rhyming dialogue into it anyway, but just in case its nice to hear!

Cool!...(I love stage-used props!)
Looks like I'm definitely not going to see the show 'till Philly, if even then
...looked good for a while, but now I'm really seriously watching the day-on-the-rent-set auction so the money goes somewheres deserving...
Oh well, good for everyone that gets the chance to/has gotten the chance to see it!

Wow I haven't been on this thread in forever!
Anthony, quick question. There's some rumor that the movie is now going to be set in the mid-1980's instead of the mid-1990's. Can you confirm or deny that before we get our panties in a twist?
Thank ya!

Yeah, I couldn't stand the misspelling of "courtesy" on Eponine's avatar anymore.

Ooh, Nick Nolte! I don't think it's as bad as Jacko. Seems a little more comical than scary. Good choice, Tiff.
