May I ask how Glory sounds? I've heard Adam take different notes with it than what's on the OBCR and I was just curious as to how he would sing it now.
Also, can anyone tell me what Day Magnolia Tree means? I think I'm missing something.
Insomniak, since Anthony's next post was headed "Jour Quatre," (French for Day Four, as I'm sure a lot of you know), I think it's safe to assume "Day Magnolia Tree" was kind of like Cockney rhyming slang for "Day Three."
i can't wait until the movie starts production, it's just so cool, perhaps in some crazy way i'll get to the set, w/out security shooting me..lol...and i just had to say this..a lot of people treat celebrities like a god..and stalk them...and yea..I mean if you like the celebrities talent, tell them that..and don't go crazy and do insane crap...sorryy..lol..i don't mean to offend any actors or anything or offend stalkers, or fantics...just tone down your obsession a tad bit..i'm sorry if i came off rude or anything. thanks guys. ric
Lol. Not rude(at least to me) a little funny perhaps in just the way you wrote it.
Glad to hear things are going well with rehearsing, etc.

Hi Anthony (and everyone else on the board! I feel like I know you all, I have been lurking for so long!)
My husband and I saw you perform in Henry V in Boston a few years ago, and you were fantastic! Would you ever consider doing a public theater performance again?
And about the whole 'people being so overwhelmed that they are shaking and can't speak' thing? I was one of those people...at UMASS Amherst about four or five years ago...you thought it was funny that my roommate did ALL of the speaking, even though I was the fan, and you had to remind me that I wanted a picture with you...but I am painfully shy around everyone, not just you! :)
It's just like learning how to ride a bike. Once you learn how, it falls off the back of your car and drags along 495 at 70mph.
hearing about rehearsals like this day by day is amazing! it's such a special treat. thanks so much for taking the time to post anthony. we really appreciate it.

and woah I just completely missed the post he made lol
"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."
lara, i don't know if you were here for this, but we sort of imposed a "no bumping" rule for this thread because the thread-jacking was getting out of hand and everyone was going off-topic. it was clogging up the thread and anthony couldn't find the questions people asked him. anthony has agreed to find this thread when it gets a couple of pages back.
just wanted to let you know before people start yelling at you
Hello Anthony... I am ashamed to say that when i met you i was shaky and couldnt speak lol. It wasnt becuase i was scared or anything I am just nervous going up to people asking them for their autographs...it always makes me feel uncomfortable.
It sounds like you have a Theatre filled scehd. really hectic though.
I saw you in Little Shop and you were really good! I wasnt going to see the show but when I saw that you were in it i new i had to. I am happy I did.

I'm so glad it's going well, Anthony. I can't wait to hear more!

I was more nervous meeting Anthony for the first time then I was meeting Tori Amos. Years down the road I'm able to hang out with him and not be starstruck, how, I'll never know. Celebs are people just like us. I've never really understood how people can get short of breath and freak out at meeting a celeb.
Now if it was Sarah Jessica Parker....then I might scream and cry. But only for her.

Sarah is probably one of the most approachable stars I've ever met. She has the most genuine personality you'd ever meet. I just think she's a sweet heart.
Anthony- are you guys going to be in New York filming any parts of it? I know they said the exteriors are being shot in NYC- does that include scenes with you guys in them?

Anthony, quick question before I go off to class and waste my parents' hard-earned money, but you've done some shows at the Pittsburgh Public Theater (I still have the issue of City Paper with you and Adam (Rapp) on the cover). What do you think of the Pittsburgh theater scene, and well, the Steel City in general?
And now to head to history...blah...
"During this performance, please feel free to let your cell phones and pagers ring willy-nilly. However, do remember that there are heavily-armed knights on stage and you might well be dragged up and impaled."
(Pre-curtain announcement at the new Broadway musical Monty Python's Spamalot)
Trust me you'll enjoy it. It's a wonderful show and everyone does so great. I wish I could see it again Oh well. Memory(no pun intended) will always be there.

Well, I am about to meet my friends for pre-theater dinner. We are going to see Little Shop of Horrors tonight in San Diego. I am very excited about seeing Anthony in this role. This is my first time seeing Little Shop done professionally. :)

another advanced apology if this has already been discussed. i, for one, am devasted that they are filming RENT in san fran. now granted, the east village has turned into a big frat party with french ex-pats thrown in for good measure... but i think the city, as SJP always says, is another character in the story.
anthony - can't you get mr. columbus to change his mind? please!
