The UK board seems fairly convinced that a traditional production of West Side Story will grace the National's stage in 2027, directed by Marianne Elliott with a large orchestra.
Having been thrilled many times by the NT's production of Follies and having missed the van Hove Broadway production, I certainly hope this is true.
