If "you" could choose 5 flops to be given another chance what shows would you pick?
My Picks
1.) Marilyn: An American Fable
2.) Mack and Mable
3.) Breakfast at Tiffanys
4.) Dance of The Vampires
5.) Starlight Express.......hey I would see it.

You know what, THANK YOU for starting this thread, LOL!
.....Anyhoo, here is my #1 pick for a flop that should be revivied:
#1) DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES - If the original German creative team is once again brought together to produce an English copy of the Stuttgart verion of Tanz Der Vampire, then I truely believe it would be an amazing piece of theatre, and the critics would have different, less negative, views. It is my opinion the Count von Krolock should be played by an actor with more of a baritone quality to his voice. All of the original design aspects were astounding in Germany, and should definitely be retained. As for Roman Polanksi, who we know can't return to the US freely, I think that a US producer should utilize his assistant director or someone who worked closely with him on the original project. I think the show will be given another chance in a different form eventually.
#2) Taboo - I think that the book from the original London production was far better than the Broadway version.
#3) Dracula - GOD, this show had serious problems. The two most significant people at fault were Don Black an Christopher Hampton. Some of Frank Wildhorn's music was a tad predictable, but overall it was really good. The La Jolla version of Dracula had it's faults, but was far superior to the final Broadway product. To me the broadway design aspects were terrible. Heidi Ettinger went for the curved spanish feel, when in reality that only added to the already obvious cunfusion that the show lends itself to. She stated that she wanted to stay away from the gothic cliche, but when you really think about it, Dracula is a gothic novel. My overall view of Dracula is that as spectacular, full, and grand of a story as it is, it deserves that same treatment onstage (i.e. Large ensemble, large scenic elements in the style of the show, AND A LIVE ORCHESTRA).
......There are more, but these are a few that that popped into my mind first!
See Ya.

The Rink
Starlight doesn't need re-vamping it was a huge hit on the West End!
If anyone has seen the Far Pavilions on the West End then that could be given much more of a boost - the dance numbers are screaming bigger dances to make more impact!

Smile...I've only heard three songs from it and I'd love to hear the rest. The ones I heard were great. I think it might do well. I just saw the movie on which it was based today.
Caroline or Change...I didn't get to see this, and I'm sad now.
