ONE NIGHT ONLY from "DREAMGIRLS"

"you want all my love and my devotion
you want my love and soul right on the line
i have no doubt that i could love you forever
the only trouble is
i really, really don't have the time
i've got one night only, one night only
that's all i have to spare
one night only
let's not pretend to care"

As of a few days ago I'm in a relationship for the first time so GOODBYE TIL TOMORROW from The Last 5 Years, especially since it's always so hard for us to leave at the end of the day.

"There are mouths to be kissed before mouths to be fed, and there's many a tryst and there's many a bed. There's a lot I'll have missed, but I'll not have been dead when I die! And a person should celebrate everything passing by."

From Les Miserables
"Even the darkest of night will end
And the sun will rise.."
(Actually we have 1,447 more sun rises to get through before the Shrub is gone)
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

"for good" from wicked

i love all the songs from wicked
"Let the little girl go, and that poor little dog? Dodo." That's my favorite line in the whole show (Wicked). My next favorite line is "Oh! It seems the artichoke is steamed."

What did I have I don't have now.
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

Hold On from the Secret Garden.

"It's this day not me, that's bound to go away."

"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being." --Phylicia Rashad
