Wicked.
Patti as Glinda of course. Can you imagine what she could do with popular?
Alright that last one ^^^ went a little bit too far. Patti as Galinda/Glinda? Really?
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it: APPLAUSE.
Patti LuPone as Margo Channing and Laura Benanti as Eve Harrington? Um... yes.
The Rink is a brilliant idea.
What about Michael John Lachiusa's Bernarda Alba.
Patti as Bernarda and Laura as one of the daughters. I'd suggest Angustias but Magdalena would be more age appropriate.

Was it not already proven that Bernarda Alba couldn't be saved by even a good cast?
I didn't see it off broadway with Phylicia Rash?d and Daphne Rubin-Vega so I cant speak for that production, however I have seen regional productions of it and with a great cast but more importantly a great DIRECTOR the show could be a powerful piece of theater. I prefer the play to the musical but one production of the musical I saw was breathtaking.
