Heading to the city the end of October- wondering what the Off Broadway shows to see are?
Definitely TEETH at New World Stages. I would also suggest DRAG: THE MUSICAL in the same complex (and you could in theory do a two show day).
TITANIQUE (if you haven’t seen it) and BIG GAY JAMBOREE are also solid choices and can be a good pairing (same writing team/humor level)
Look at what's playing at the big non-profit theaters and see if anything interests you. Second Stage, Atlantic, Vineyard, The Public, NYTW, The Shed, PAC, Playwrights Horizons, Signature Theater, & The New Group are just some of many.

Sound like you're focused on theater, but on the off chance you like dance, the Joyce has some good offerings the end of this month. Garth Fagan's company is one I've enjoyed They continue to offer moderately priced tickets compared to a lot of places and I've never had a bad seat there.

I'm personally most interested in Ragtime, King Lear and Teeth (which I already saw). Have my tix for all three.

Tonight I saw the first preview of SH*T. Meet. Fan. If you can find a ticket, it's worth seeing. At MCC.
