What do you like best about Stephanie Block

There are so many fine actors out there. However I'm very partial to Stephanie J. Block.

I'd like to hear some reasons why her fan base likes her. I know she's talented and nice to talk to, but what are some of the other reasons?

So true, Andrea!

I'm such a sucker for decency and gratitude (NOT attitude) and she exudes those qualities bigtime. She's a woman of great faith and she has an amazing ability to connect with her fans on such a genuine level. She's unbelievably kind... an overall great person who holds her family, friends, and fans near and dear. She's just as impressive offstage as she is on (and that's saying a lot cause y'all know how fierce I think she is!)

I don't know her at all, but I was VERY impressed with her work in Wicked.

She has a terrific voice and real "star quality."

she has great diction, u can always understand what she says....but what i like the best about her...is her fan, Popular! i prefer Popular over Steph.

What I first liked about her was the amazing *sparkle* -that's the only word I can think of to describe it- she had on stage (in BFO, from the rear of the mezz!)

Then there is how kind she is to her fans, how genuine she is but most of all for me what I like best is how she inspires me, it sounds incredibly cliche I realise but she does. I went to a talk she and Isobel Keating did during the BFO run and hearing her talk about how she got started and growing up etc was wonderful to hear and still something I draw on.

I love her voice, and the fact that she is such a sweet, kind person.

When I met her at the stage door of The Boy From Oz she was the most gracious person I have ever met - she seemed really down to earth, and wanted to engage in conversations with everyone there. And she gave an incredible performance in that show. Wish I could have seen her in Wicked.

She is a genuinely kind and considerate person. She's always humble, always warm and friendly and she's a great performer.

Mega-talented and just about the nicest person one could meet. She has the 'it' factor. And then there IS that gold dress......(You're funny Andrea!)

She has a great personality and is just really really talented. She is also really good with fans (even though Wicked fans sometimes are crazy).

I love how Stephanie Block takes her job not only as an actress but also as a role model so seriously, When she gets a job, for her it isnt a job, it her life from that point on. I once e-mailed her, and within three days I got a responce with a pice of music that I needed. She is somebody for all performers to look up to. And that is why I honor her. She gives it her all,

I'm glad you started this thread fachedaluna! I think that her talent is just phenomenal. From the first time I saw her on stage years and years ago I knew she was something special. She is one of the most genuine people I've ever met and has been such a positive role model for me. She has a passion for her work and that shines through on stage every time I've seen her.

What is your dream role? My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

I can still remember the first time I heard her sing "She Loves To Hear the Music". I nearly cried. She was dynamite as Liza in BFO. Since then, I've always been a fan. I think she's a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. She seems so happy to be doing what she does, and very greatful. I love to see that in performers.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

i meant everything i said, she has great diction and the best thing she has is the fact she has supporters like u. an actor wouldnt be anyone w/o its fans.
