So far, mine is "off Bway"...one is personal, but the other is when 4 close members of my family accompanied me to see Phantom for the first time. The production was amazing, and every one of us had a magical time. It gave us a special family bonding that day, which I will always treasure :)

Posted: 6/30/08 at 8:54amSo far it's the day I saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in July of 2006. I went with some friends, we had dinner before the show, the weather was beautiful, the show was amazing, and we got autographs and a picture afterwards. It was just a fun and exciting night!

Last night, at the final RENT tour show, during the Finale, everyone was crying onstage, and they could just BARELY get out the words. At the end, we got the rare "EXTENDED SEASONS OF LOVE" which was beautiful! Then at stage everyone came out, and talked, took pictures and signed. It was really cool because I'm a big fan of Christine Dwyer (Maureen) and she remembered me from last time and thanked me so much coming and saying "GO Christine!" at curtain call. It made me feel special.
Also, won the lottery! This was my 5th time seeing RENT, but my first time sitting in the front row....WOWOW!!!!

Can't think of any in particular but here is a cool one.
First time I saw Rent, I sat in the third row right in front of Haven (Mark's Mom) during Seasons of Love and I'll Cover You (Reprise) and she was looking at us. Then we went backstage after the show and she said "Oh hey, it's you guys! You were in the third row!" I saw here maybe 7 or 8 times after that and met her a few of those times.
Then I went to Legally Blonde when they were collecting Broadway Cares money I went to her and she was very nice, and at the stage door I told her she was wonderful in Rent and she said "Thank you! I knew I remembered you from somewhere, nice to see you again!"

Posted: 6/30/08 at 11:26amOne of my best memories is definitely when I saw Jersey Boys for the first time with my mom and dad. My dad never goes sees shows with us, he usually just hangs out with his friends that travel with us. But my mom really thought he would enjoy this show. So we all went and afterwards we were walking out of the theatre and he said to us "So when are we going to see this show again?". It really meant a lot to me that he loved the show, and we all got to bond:)

Posted: 6/30/08 at 11:40amStephanie J. Block's last day in Wicked. It was so emotional and I finally got to meet her again at SD. Meeting Kerry Ellis and Julie Reiber also is a happy moment for me. Just in general seeing Wicked and meeting the cast at SD is fun. They are getting to know me now.

Posted: 6/30/08 at 12:22pmBeing asked to dinner by one of the leads of a show at the stagedoor after the performance is one. The second has to be when I walked out of the theater after Caroline or Change on Broadway. It was exhilirating. I almost cried right there on the street. My first B'Way show in 15 years and a materpiece of a show at that. I had not been to NY or to a B'Way show in about 15 years. The last thing I saw before I moved was a really bad performance of "Phantom" in '89 (I am from Philly, live in Denver now)

TonyVincent, that's just what I was going to say. As sad as it was that the show was closing, the magical electricity that was the closing performance of Sunday In The Park With George is definitely my all-time happiest Broadway memory.

Posted: 6/30/08 at 1:03pmsgv, I will add that to mine also! It was during the same trip and I was looking forward to seeing/hearing Defying Gravity live. Idina cracked ever so slightly at the end, but it was still thrilling.

Watching my parents cry during "I'll Cover You: Reprise."
It's like they finally "got" what I had been obsessing about for years.

On my trip to NY in April & May, the first show of the week was Gypsy and I swear I was shaking and had tears in my eyes as the first notes of music began. I was just SO excited and SO greatful to be there.
Meeting Jenna Russell is up there too. And (obviously!) seeing SITPWG was an experience that defys words.

Posted: 6/30/08 at 4:08pmMy happiest memory was great! I sent a letter to John Tartaglia saying what a great guy he is and how talented he is. I did not expect anything back, it was just a letter to let him know that he was great. But on my birthday I got a letter, I opened it up and was a letter from John Tartaglia! I was sooo happy I couln't stop screaming! He wrote how nice my letter was and how sweet I was! That was the best memory and birthday present ever!

Cheyenne skating on stage in his black hot pants...
Seriously though, it'd be seeing August: Osage County with my dad Fathers' Day weekend. I've never enjoyed a play so much in my entire life.
