It's hard for me to listen to any other kind of music. I just can't get connected with it. There is always a new show coming out or a new cd released. Showtunes have always been my favorite and will always be. I can honestly say that except of X-Mas I am always listening to showtunes. I will say I do like the Beatles though.

Yup, I'm pretty gay.
Caroline...I love Jamie Cullum. I actually touched him when I saw him here in Concert at a small club!
AH! AH! AH!!! I'm obsessed. I missed his concert here in Houston and I'm praying to god that he'll come back. he's so talented! (and not bad to look at, as well)
that's so awesome!
I've always been impressed with people with such eclectic music tastes. I'm such a theater dork. My CD collection is like, 80% showtunes. But I also like Diana Krall (so hot), Billy Joel, Avril Lavine (yes, I said it...she's also quite hot), Johnny Cash, and I have a bunch of Bryn Terfel's solo CDs too.
Yeah, just about all musicals for me (I hate calling them showtunes, because a lot of them are not showy at all), but I also like Billy Joel, The Beatles, Matchbox 20, Maroon 5, and Dave Matthews.

This is what i love about iTunes, whenever I'm hankering for an old classic or modern hit, I can get that one song and not worry about getting the whole CD. My Purchased list is very acclectic, from Billy Joel to Eminem to Green Day to Madonna.
Of course my ipod is mostly showtunes. I have hundreds of cast recordings, but every once in a while it's nice to listen to something else too. I'm with you guys. Showtunes all the way!

I do listen to a lot of showtunes and solo stuff from Broadway singers. But other than that I listen to opera quite a bit- Italian and French mostly (Verdi, Puccini, Bizet etc) I also like:
Joni Mitchell
Rufus Wainright
Corinne Baily Rae
Norah Jones
Damien Rice
Katie Melua
and this is a bit embarrassing- I like classical crossover. Not Charlotte Church but I do like Josh Groban, Katherine Jenkins, Hayley Westenra (occasionally) and something Sarah Brightman
MILES DAVIS!!!!!!!
The Clash
Fatboy Slim (the Best Of CD is Prozac on a disk)
Been rediscovering Cyndi Lauper
RAMONES!
The divine Kate Bush
Prog-pop from the Seventies, namely Sweet
DEBUSSY!
Beginning to LOATHE hip-hop and its obsessive fixation on popularity and being rich...deeply dissapointed in the lack of sophistication in modern pop (Timberlake, Fergie, and Stefani can all go suck a dick), but intrigued by the pop underground: Annie, Robyn's indie stuff, Scissor Sisters, Hey Willpower...check it out!
i love some indie alternative stuff, and some techno-dance.
