With the rush of movies to broadway, I can't believe someone hasn't done "Under the Tuscan" yet. Seems like a natural.

The 1978 edition of "Hevaen Can Wait" or "Working Girl" but at the top of my list I would put "Jeane de Forette"/"Manon of
the Spring" and "Il Postino".

Now that it's a movie, I'd like to see a musicalization of The Devil Wears Prada.

I always thought Kill Bill would make a great modern opera, fused with many different styles and dances. And I'm not kidding.

Newsies is a movie-musical, it has never been written for live theatre yet, though.
I kind of think Mean Girls would be an intersting one.

I was watching Anistasia the movie with my 5 year old niece and I think with some adapting and new songs it could make a really good musical. There are a lot of great songs.

Hasn't there been some kind of musical version of "Dorian Gray" with Max von Essen?

Yeh, GuyFromGermany, there was, but it seems to have disappeared.
I guess as it was set in New Orleans it was scuppered by Hurricane Katrina. Just a guess.
