I HATED that concert called Altar Boyz, so I'd say skip that, and see The Fantasticks, that is a truly wonderful MUSICAL.

Fuerzabruta is billed as a "rave-like experience". But it's sort of like a combination of cirque du soleil, a rave, blue man group etc. but it's so much cooler than those things. Definitely not as good as de la guarda (its predecessor) but still something that is totally worth checking out, if for nothing more than sheer fun and something WAY different.

muscle - different strokes for different folks. Why not see BOTH ??? "Altar Boyz" is supposed to be more of a concert. That's what's so fun and entertaining about it. It's not deep, like "Fanasticks" (which I also adore).

It's a matter of opinion, I suppose. But "Altar Boyz" is hilarious, has great music, features fabulous dancing, and is such great fun!

Well I am just saying that I hated it, not that the show is bad or anything. Charleston, he wants to see just one Off Bway show it seems, that's why I recommend The Fantasticks. Glad you liked them both.

Fuerzabruta was fun. When I walked into the "theater" I was wondering how it was going to be transformed into what I had seen on the website. Well they did it. And the music is fun too. I am not a very "audience participation" type person, but I was dancing at the end of the show with the guy in the white suite! If you go, wear sneakers or comfortable shoes.
