What other show should I see on my Birthday??

Well I'm going to NYC the day before my Bday this month, for some shows. It'll be saturday. So matinee, and evening.

I am DEFINITELY going to see DRS for the evening.

But for the matinee I've narrowed it down to..

The Producers
Hairspray
Rent
Doubt

Which would you reccommend?

well if you want have a kick ass time, then go to Hairspray. Shannon Durig et al. equals good birthday fun.
when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

Depends if you have seen any of these shows before.

When in doubt I always go with RENT.

Go see DOUBT! Trust me, you will thank me for it later! re: What other show should I see on my Birthday??

I always like to see a play and a musical if I can only pick two. Go with Doubt.
"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being." --Phylicia Rashad

hmmmm...I'd go with Doubt, a change of pace for you, and isn't it closing soon?

I'll be the lone voice for Producers...I'd see this show at least twice a week if I could...

Crap. I think it's between DOUBT and The Producers.

DOUBT dosen't really seem like a happy go lucky see it on your birthday show - but I've been dying to see it.

hmmm.

Look at it this way---Doubt is closing fairly soon, whereas the Producers will play for a while longer, with the movie coming out in December.

Dirty Rotton Scondrals... The Producers, Beauty and the Beast is always great.... I'd save rent for when u've got nothing else to do cause u can get those lottery tickets cheap.

I would see RENT if I was in your position... because the current cast is really great, and I have no idea how good the Hairspray cast is right now. Obviously, I would reccommend Light in the Piazza over everything else, especially because Piazza is SO different than Piazza. Anyway, from your list my order would be: RENT, Hairspray, Producers, Doubt. [I'm not big into plays, but I've heard a lot of good things about Doubt... so my last two I have no idea about]

Good luck choosing!
