Hiya,
I had the honor of chatting with Matthew Morrison today about his plans after leaving "Finding Neverland," his love of the show and much more.
Check it out here:
Hopefully he will issue an apology to Jeremy Jordan. LOL
Right? Obviously his next role will be another one where a better actor does all of the work out of town.
Just a suggestion, bitter Jeremy Jordan fans can start their own thread. ; )
Back to Matt, I would suspect a TV/movie project would be first before another BW show. Doing the orchestra gigs suits his style and still guessing as to what his favorite TV show is where he's been offered a recurring role.

The Good Wife ? He's mentioned being a fan of that.
Matthew just loves replacing people! He replaced the link Larkin from the Seattle Run, Steven Pasquale in light in the piazza and Jeremy in finding neverland!

And Kelli O'Hara replaced Celia Keenan-Bolger in Light at the Piazza,
Kate Shindle replaced Nikki Snelson in Wonderland,
Taylor Louderman replaced Amanda LaVergne in Bring it On
and those are just the ones off the top of my head. It happens all the time.
Back to Matthew's new job....

He did just film a guest star spot on Sutton Fosters show Younger, he might have more episode there. Or maybe one of Ryan Murphys TV shows like American Horror Story.
From interviews Matt more than implied he couldn't wait to get out of Glee (who can blame him) especially with how his character was treated so wild guess is he won't do any Ryan Murphy shows for a while.

The good wife is my best guess then. I am glad that he is doing TV so quickly since there is a very short lag between filming and airing. It's good exposure since his last on screen acting role was the Glee finale back in March.

It is. Always appreciate when people take time out to speak with me, love telling their stories!

Yeah, because Morrison himself went up to Jordan, snatched the script, and shoved the poor guy onto the ground while pointing and laughing like a playground bully. Give it a rest already, JJ has clearly moved on.

I think for the most part, people need to have faith that things work out the way they do for a reason. So many careers were impacted by chance, or "I didn't get this, but look what came along," destiny, fate, whatever.
It's a hard game, for sure, but everyone is impacted, and for most, it's not like they truly have a say/make a decision on their own, anyway
Considering that Matt Morrison was involved in the early readings/prep of Finding Neverland, it's hardly a secret he was always the original choice of Harvey's for the lead role in FN. Jeremy Jordan has said he was not offered the transition to BW guaranteed when he signed on for the Boston out of town Run.
It sucks that Jeremy was replaced but Matthew certainly wasn't to blame.
Matthew and Jeremy both have seemed to move on. As to FN, depending on the replacement actor it could potentially run through another season if it survives the winter months.
My bet on Matt is " The Good Wife".
Maybe Harvey's promise to Jordan for a west end run will actually come to fruition. Didn't Barlow tweet out something about that?
JJ was never meant to do the Broadway gig, according to the producers, whose fault is that they kept him in the dark about their decision. Matt was always meant to be on the Broadway run. Producers were just jerks not to inform Jordan of that in advance.
That being said, Matt's new plans are very exciting. There's also a movie in the (early) works.
Daytime soap. Saw him in Neverland on Wednesday. He has the charisma of a brick.
Matt on the Good Wife would be interesting, a political operative.

Saw the show last nite, would have to disagree with you. What specifically did you find lacking?

Check out update on Kelsey Grammer's return and when the two will share the "Finding Neverland" stage. Anyone trying to grab tickets for that?

I disagree also. Good for him on Good Wife!

All I know is Julianna Margulies had better be running her running her hands through Matthew Morrison's chest hair or I'm switching over to The Walking Dead to watch live instead. Also, I'm digging the beard, so he'd better keep that too.
