What's the REAL deal SPIDER-MAN?

So. I saw this show on Friday. (The day they officially announced their February opening.)The producer gave his disclaimer speech beforehand...Whatever....
The show went off without a hitch! No stops.
Equally boring; equally thrilling.
Only a few "oh, there's a stagehand I'm not supposed to see", etc.. nothing major at all.
My question.
Cirque does things that don't even compare to what I saw in SMan. REMARKABLE THINGS! Like Ka and even Dragons Le Reve at the Wynn.
So why? Why REALLY can't they get it together?
Just wanted to have this discussion because so many of us have seen it at this point...

I have a real opinion.
I think brownies are better than cookies.
Mmm!

I have an opinion - "My question." is not a sentence.
Actually, that's not an opinion, it's a fact.

Its just so much to type. Sorry. Spider-man.
You must be having effects from the eclipse blaxx... no need to be saucy. Yes. saucy.
And I still like you and your bitchy posts. Always have. You have a fan. You finally have a fan who will admit it. And I'm not even referring to how you're speaking with me tonight when it comes to being rude.
Check out the eclipse. Do something that will provide beauty in your life. You seem so jaded and rude all the time.
I do like you really.

Wading past the usual juvenalia...
I also dont understand why they didnt bring in folks like Laliberte and his team to handle the flying on this. As you note, Cirque has been doing this for decades without an accident, and I was always under the impression that, when you have a problem, if you cant solve it yourself, you hire a professional... especially when it involves the safety of not only your actors but the thousand or so people sitting under them at the time.
But seeing the photos on the front page here and watching the videos online and hearing the songs, what strikes me more than the flying is just how completely inept it all appears. Some of the scenery looks fantastic, but, as is true with almost anything Tsypin designs, there are also big time WTF moments. The costumes and masks are... well, to be blunt, borderline silly at times. As for the music? I'm a casual U2 fan, but this is just one seriously lame score.
Yes, I know I'm judging based on snippets. But these are the snippets the production company is putting out there to promote this thing. If this is the best it has to offer, how ridiculous and absurd can the rest of it be?

Well, as Cary Grant never said, "Julie, Julie, Julie!"
