Well I know we all have obsessions (Corine2) *ahem*
So what are everyone's Broadway obsessions?
Mine is Barbra of course and I keep Wicked on repeat all the time.

my show obsessions: Aida, Rent, Cabaret, Oklahoma!
cast recording obsessions: the four above plus wicked and tick, tick... boom!
and of course my broadway boys! Adam Pascal especially, as you all know well enough... and Patrick Wilson and Michael Cavanaugh, to name a few.
I also have a bit of a stage door obsession... I love meeting the actors. It's such an amazing feeling to be talking to people who are so talented, and to be able to thank them for the (usually) wonderful performance they've just given

My Broadway obsession was Daniel Sunjata and TAKE ME OUT. Now, I'm currently searching for a replacement. I thought Max Von Essen would be a suitable replacement, but I'm never in New York when he's performing so it's difficult to become obsessed.

I'm not going to say a word.

Well, as far as people are concerned just look left at my icon :)
Oh and Adam Pascal too
As for shows, Hairspray, Rent and Boy from Oz
But most of all, I just love being around Times Square ! On my recent trip I was going sightseeing and shopping, but every afternoon I found myself wandering around the place enjoying just being there ! And we are talking every afternoon for 10 days !!!! I guess you can call that an obsession :)

Take care

I can't stop listening to it!!

I had to track down the sheet music, the book the story was based on (Le Passe-Muraille) and ... other things that I can't mention .... AND did an Internet search for a pic of the real wall/sculpture in Paris -- and found it! -- and have decided to learn French, because the book's never been translated. Then I'm going to Paris and see the wall. Oh, and I am having the Paris cast version sent to me, even now ... and I plan to play the Michel Legrand version of "An Ordinary Guy" on a radio show I'm co-hosting in May ....

Talk about obsession. Y'all don't know obsession!

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Carrie is probably my biggest obsession. I try to collect anything that has to do with that show. I had to stop a couple of years ago because of financial restraints, but I hope to get a couple more items. I need the Playbill and the poster if anyone knows anything. I saw the crew jacket once, but I'll probably have to give up hope on that. I'd also love to find the tie-in paperback printing of the novel with the logo on the cover. I saw it in bookstores when the show was in previews, but never saw it again.

The show deserves another shot.

Used to be pretty obsessed with Parade, then thanks to Daisy Hilton, I got into Side Show. Right now, though, no musical gets played all the time. re: re: re: re: Broadway Obsessions

I mean obsessing these days has connotations--the kind that can land you in hot water if you're not careful, you know?

"Grand Passion" has a better ring to it.

That said, I do spend an untoward amount of my free time thinking about Hugh Jackman's underwear....
