I'm always curious to see what shows people are going to see...so...what's your spring / summer schedule like?
My line-up looks like this thus far...
May 24th - Saved
July 12th - Damn Yankees
July 19th - South Pacific
Sept 13th - Equus
I've just noticed that June looks a little empty! I will have to work on this!
July
Gypsy
Damn Yankees
In The Heights (Again!)
Just Spring Awakening on May 18 for now. I'm planning on seeing Gypsy and In the Heights over the summer, though.
I will be in NYC August 4-10 seeing:
A Catered Affair
South Pacific
Gypsy
Cry-Baby (if it is still open)
and am still deciding on more shows.
Want to see this summer:
August: Osage County
[title os show]
South Pacific
39 Steps
Damn Yankees
This summer, I plan on seeing:
In The Heights
Phantom of the Opera
Mary Poppins
Legally Blonde
Cry-baby
Broadway Legend Joined: 1/28/08
I see shows every weekend so I really don't have a schedule.
Tentatively:
Passing Strange
Title of Show
Spring Awakening
Rent (yup, Eden convinced me I needed one more return to the Neder).
Mine starts in just over a week -
Gypsy
Cry Baby
Xanadu
Hairspray
Saved
Avenue Q
Young Frankenstein
August Osage County
The Little Mermaid
9 shows in 6 days!
August: Osage County (2nd time)
Les Liaisons Dangereuses
South Pacific
Passing Strange (2nd time)
In the Heights (2nd time)
Spring Awakening (2nd time)
Hair in the Park
The Adding Machine
Fuerzabrata
Gypsy
[title of show]
Boeing Boeing
I will be up there 8/18 through the 23rd:
Booked already:
South Pacific (8/19...my birthday!)
Waiting for discounts/TDF/what friends want to see, but want to see:
Xanadu*
[title of show]*
August: Osage County*
Boeing Boeing*
Cry Baby
39 Steps
ITH
Tale of Two Cities (perhaps the second preview on 8/20)
SITPWG (if it extends again)*
Young Frankenstein
A Catered Affair
Passing Strange
The asteriks represent the ones I am really wanting to see, but am open to anything. I am going to try to see at least 5. Any suggestions for the remaining 4 after South Pacific?

Of the remaining four, I would say 39 Steps if you like silly humor (I laughed the entire time). YF was okay...it had some funny moments (especially if you are a fan of Mel Brooks). I would only see Cry Baby if you can get super cheap tickets. I have not seen ITH, A catered affair or Passing Strange, so I can't comment on these.
The only things that are definite right now are "No, No, Nanette!" this Saturday and [title of show] in July.
I'm currently selling my own blood to get funds to go back to the city this summer to see Damn Yankees.
Will keep you posted.
[title of show] July 6th.
And I'm gonna try and see Passing Strange (again), Adding Machine (again), Xanadu (again), and 39 Steps, sometime in June/August.
I'm hoping to come up over Memorial Day weekend to see Saved. I'll be in New York at the end of August though and will be seeing either {title of show}, In the Heights, or Gypsy. If the rest of the family is going to see a show with me though, it will probably be In the Heights.
I'm seeing a ton of regional productions within one week. Bare: A Pop Opera at F.U.D.G.E in Boston, Jekyll and Hyde at Newton Summer Stage, this original show at my old camp, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Dennis Playhouse.
So far, I have tickets for:
May 24th--Saved and Xanadu
June 29th--Curtains
July 19th--Damn Yankees
September 7th--Rent
I will probably go into the city spontaneously many times over the summer because I only live like 20 minutes away so I plan to see...
In The Heights multiple times, I've seen it four times and I hope to see it a lot more
Rent probably once or twice
Maybe Gypsy for the third time
Lion King, probably
And a few others
And Rent September 7th!
I still need to see:
Boeing-Boeing
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
The Country Girl
Cry Baby
In the Heights
November
Thurgood
Young Frankenstein
Definitely want to see Saved.
Show-wise, only Gypsy is booked. July 19, evening show. That's with my parents and sister for her and my birthdays (Nope...not twins. Just the same birthday.) I consider that a victory considering what was suggested. Sadly I have to have icky dinner because she gets to pick that.
Other than that it's just the next 2 BBTYs and Emily Skinner at Feinstein's that's all booked so far.
I'll be there June 16-22. Going to see Spring Awakening, Gypsy, Xanadu, and Sunday in the Park with George.
Hopefully I'll be back in August to see [title of show].
