What show do think/hope will make a reappearance on Broadway?

Amen, NoHSMisNotAMusical, amen! Most painful thing I've ever seen.

I second the A Chorus Line/Drowsy Chaperone revivals.

I would eventually love to see a revival of Light in the Piazza with Kelli O'Hara as Margaret Johnson.

I assume a revival of Sweet Bird of Youth *with* happen sooner rather than later, partly just because it's one of the few of the well known Williams plays that hasn't been.

I'd love to see that. It's been quite a while since Night of the Iguana was last revived; the last production on Broadway was as long ago as 1996. There was a decent production in London about 7 years ago starring Woody Harrelson.

Would love to see a revival of Sunset Blvd happen. A full-scale one, mind.

What I think and what I wish are two very different things. Chess, I hope. Sweeney and Company, surely in another 15 years it will be time. Part of me hopes we get another Cabaret, but a new production would have mighty big shoes to fill.
A work of art is an invitation to love.

Chess is a show that needs someone to finally get their brains around the hundreds of different versions out there and give us a definitive staging- putting back some of the great music from the Original London Production- that I would line up to see in a heartbeat.

I would love to see the Barnum revival that has been talked about happen.

Honestly, rather than seeing Stephen Schwartz write new songs for a Houdini musical, how about reviving The Magic Show with a good bit of stunt casting?

Re-frame the book slightly:

We find ourselves in a seedy nightclub on the former Sunset Strip, the Top Hat, where an aging alcoholic magician, Feldman the Magnificent (I'm thinking Rip Taylor), chews the scenery in his overly grand performance. Manny, the Top Hat owner, wants to replace him, but every magic act he auditions is a two-bit trick-less David Blaine wannabe.

Enter a famous, albeit very unconventional, Hollywood star (I'm thinking NPH, who is known for magic tricks, but Jackman would work for this, too, if he wants to add his Houdini repertoire), and his significant other, who saw the sign outside and decided to audition on a lark. The poor significant other loves the star, and the star knows this, but the star takes that love for granted as they single-mindedly pursue their every whim with a narrow focus. The latest whim? Magic. This becomes a sticking point between the two, as the star pays less attention to his significant other while he excitedly throws together an act. Finally, the star thinks he can go it without his beloved and conjures up the "beautiful assistant" he needs, which of course only hurts the lover.

The subplot remains Donna and Dina, singers at the club, one of whom dates the nephew of a big agent named Goldfarb, who is coming to the club to check out their act, for which everyone is excited. D & D still get jealous of the lovely new assistant and plot with Feldman to expose the secrets to the star's tricks during the show; the star figures out he values his significant other's love more than his whims, and they reunite; the beautiful assistant is conjured out of existence; and all's well that ends well.

All that is needed is to do new arrangements, maybe re-write some dated material in the score and add a few songs, and you're good to go.

Miss Saigon is a must

Also I'd really like a full-scale production of Sunday in the Park with George, not a limited run like the last time. (also with a better cast whoops)
