I am?!
And that would be Miss Saigon, the ginormous LP.
My fair lady, on casette. w/ Julie Andrews
I had casettes of the sound of music and grease but I'm pretty sure those were from the movies, not the broadway shows.
The Original Broadway Cast Recording of PIPPIN. Purchased at the Imperial Theatre on W. 45th Street in 1972. I was 7 years old. It was my first Broadway show.

If you are specifically asking for Broadway Cast Recording (since I did own the Jesus Christ Superstar Original Concept Album first (and that is not counting soundtracks like Grease & West Side Story)...
...First Broadway Cast Recording was scarily enough the Into the Woods Revival.
Carousel
The Wizard of Oz
Phantom of the Opera
The Evita American Premiere Cast Recording

EVITA never had an Original Broadway Cast Recording.
Are you referring to the American Premiere Cast Recording with Patti LuPone, Mandy Patinkin and Bob Gunton?
I don't remember.
Lord help me, how could have been so foolish.

first casette- Annie
first CD- Beauty and the Beast
The first "soundtrack" from a "show" was the movie version of ANNIE that my mom had on LP. However, the first cast recording that I bought with my "lemonade stand money" was the 90s Revival of Show Boat. I got hooked.
I think mine was The Wiz.

The first one bought for me:
Phantom of the Opera - 2 Disc
First one I bought:
A Chorus Line - OBC (although if you want to count the TV Soundtrack to Annie, that was the first)
Miss Saigon was on LP??? I must find this!

Phantom.
Company was the first ever given to me.
Since, I painted the apartment hallway ceiling "red-orange" because of a The Fantastics lyric.
Then, I've bought back through the repertoire to learn shows and roles. Earliest is Pal Joey.
Somehow, disks & tapes of movies of Broadway shows don't seem to count, no matter how good some turn out. I like only the Original Cast recordings. It's just a thing.
I keep the vinyl/tape/cd collection in chronological order when show was produced.
(An ironic twist, and nothing personal ... a fan of a show about spelling perhaps? ... know that "You're" always and only means "you are" and what you mean in your title is "Your". Just sayin'.)

"Carnival!" for my 11th birthday which was about five weeks after the show opened.
You do the math.
