I've been thinking about this for quite some time now.
At the end of "Avenue Q", the cast sings...
SEX! ..is only for now.
YOUR HAIR...is only for now.
GEORGE BUSH...is only for now.
It's a huge crowd pleasing moment, but I can't help but wonder what it will be changed to when Bush leaves office.
Suggestions?

It's a great little moment in the score... perhaps the writers will just slip in another disliked public figure.

Alas, there will always be a moron in a high office that the show can change the lyric to. God help us if in a few years they are singing "Bill Frist...is only for now." Bite my tongue.

I'm not sure what they'll say but I think that a Showtime TV Series of Ave. Q could be very cool, taped in the way of Sesame Street so you don't see the puppeteers...I hope it's still running by 2009...I need to go see it in NYC still...maybe next trip I'll try to do the lotto.
