I can only assume that they will extend through the Tony Awards, after the nominations come out. I feel considering the talent involved, it will stay open maybe until the end of the summer if it gets extended. I don't see them closing it before the Tony's.
Looking at Roundabout's track record, all of their shows that have closed close to the Tony deadline where show that opened in the winter, and closed by March. Still a month or two from the deadline. Nothing as close as She Loves Me's closing date. Then again, March is a different choice for opening for Roundabout.
Also, if you look at the competition that it will have for Best Revival of a Musical Tony, it has Dames at Sea (which I feel like will be like Hedwig, or Cinderella in terms of consideration), Fiddler on the Roof, Spring Awakening, and The Colour Purple. It's a tight race if you believe in the raves for the latter 2 shows' previous productions, and if you believe in Barlett Sher and Fiddler on the Roof can't do any wrong.
