It was supposed to be 11/7-11/27. Not sure if it is still accurate. It would seem to me that kind of absence would still be posted if it were still happening.

Can they get Liza to replace her those weeks? Please! She was born to sing "I'm Still Here", because she IS still here!

Looking forward to Elaine Paige though.

If she is going to be out of the show for a significant period of time (and I'd say three weeks is) for concert engagements and the like, it would be nice if they brought someone of some stature in.

That would suck for Florence Lacey, but I would also love to see a name brought in if Paige is out for 3 weeks.

Having seen Elaine Paige in the role...
she was a total disappointment and brought nothing to the song I"m still here. In fact in my opinion she was miscast.

Liza subbing would be brilliant.

Compared to Karen Morrow, Delores Grey, Yvonne De Carlo, Carol Burnett, Eartha Kitt, Polly Bergin... Elaine Page's performance is quite substandard and disappointing.

Pray for an understudy.

It would be hard to improve on her performance since she was pretty spectacular when I saw her in DC over Memorial Day weekend. She stopped the show with "I'm Still Here." Her interpretation & understanding of the lyrics were brilliant.

And isn't she upstage for the first part of the number? My friend said the entire audience was struggling to see her. The tall boys around her dwarfs her small stature that far upstage, apparently.

Yes, when I saw it in DC, she's sitting on a chair, surrounded by a few waiters - one of them crouching down next to her. My seat in DC was on the side, so the entire first verse I couldn't see her face at all, until she moved down center.

Unless you were on the extreme sides, and down front - which is where I was, you had a clear view of her.

I really enjoyed Paige's performance last night. She was very strong vocally and delivered a wonderful rendition of "I'm Still Here". No disappointment here.

Having seen the show for the first time last night, I think she did great with the role she was given. I would have preferred a bigger role for her but the show doesn't give much besides the 4 leads. It looked like she tried to stand out even when her character is not speaking or singing. Her "I'm Still Here" definitively one of the highlights of the evening. But then again I am biased to her

After seeing the show Thursday night, I think she can't go on leave soon enough. Man, did I hate her "I'm Still Here". A misguided attempt at copying Stritch - instead of owning a song that requires ownership to work.

And, man oh, man. I wish that she would've stayed in tempo with the orchestra just a wee bit more.

But Jayne Houdyshell? DAMN, does she knock "Broadway Baby" out of the park.
