I would say you're not too late if you go now. When I did it last month I got there at 11:20 and the line was already almost to 8th avenue. They take names all the way until 12:30 and when I was there it was a steady stream of people for the entire half hour, and I'm pretty sure they cut off some people but I couldn't see the line very well from where I was standing. Anyways, go now if you can or maybe wait until next week.

Amazing. The line today wen all the way down 46th, a block down 8th Ave, then almost to 7th on 45th. I can't imagine they got all those names down by 12:30. Estimating the number of people, your individual chances of winning tickets were probably something like 0.5% today.

So I ended up going, I arrived at 11:30 and was standing in front of the Imperial (on 45th). My submission was entered and so was everyone in the whole line behind me (they ended up taking names till about 12:40) - I would recommend next week if you're interested in coming through to get there BY 11. I could hardly even hear the names being announced via the girl w the mic because I was so far behind the mass of people earlier in the line in combination with people who just showed up early to watch Ham4Ham (which I couldn't hear at all, I couldn't even see who the guest artist was during the performance) crazy.. but exciting. I would say there was probably at least 3000 people there

As someone who has done the live lottery over 30 times (and accidently became a pundit about it, I swear that is not a joke) it sounds like it was like December over at the RRT, in the holidays it just wrapped soo much it got stuck in times sq. Recently the line was as small as probably 900 people (barely considered small) but I prefer the in person compared to the digital.
Also still never won....one day

I've done the live lottery since last summer and I agree last Wed matinee was packed! Either way, the odds of winning is still better in the live person lotteries than digital.
I arrived at 12:15pm and still managed to put my name in the bin (I entered the line from 45th street right by Shuffle Along). The line is extremely long at first but it does go by fast.
