Awww, poor Bernadette muscle23, but hey everyone has their own opinions. I agree with you about Brooke Shields-not replacing anyone-and Liza.
To the person that said Bernadette could not replace anyone, I don't see why not, she is a two time Tony-Award winning actress, I know, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't replace someone. Mrs. Lovett is a great role and I'm sure she wouldn't feel insulted if she was asked to play one of the most well-written Sondheim women on Broadway, being a replacement in a great hit show composed by one of her favorite composers would not be diminishing for someone as humble and talented as Bernadette Peters. I wonder if she was ever approached to play this role on the revival or if she's ever showed any interest.
