lol. Was going to ask if you looked at off-Broadway shows, but irrelevant question now.

Well, I MAY have room for a couple more if I want to fill up my days completely. I am seeing only one show a day on the two Saturdays I am in town, since I wanted to ease up a little. But if there is something totally unmissable off-Broadway I'm all ears !!!
I'm intrigued a little, about Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man or My Big Italian Gay Wedding, they look like a lot of fluff fun !

Posted: 12/22/14 at 8:08pmI loved Rock of Ages, but haven't seen Motown. Where do you live? Can't you catch some of the touring productions? So you don't have to see so many shows in such a short amount of time? The touring productions are usually really good.

Posted: 12/27/14 at 12:24amWow! I wanna come! I hope you have an awesome trip! The only things off broadway I could recommend are Avenue Q and Soul Doctor. I could watch Avenue Q endlessly and Soul Doctor could be a... unique experience?

I would think only a person who has never seen Soul Doctor could recommend Soul Doctor.
ROA was one of the best reviewed shows of its season.

Posted: 12/27/14 at 5:14amWould have recommended Motown. The book is terrible, but those kids can SING. Those are some of the best singers on Broadway. You can't fake what they do vocally.

Posted: 12/27/14 at 10:02amI saw "Rock Of Ages" last August and had a blast. It is just fun and if you love the music of the 80's, you will have a great time. The band kicks butt and Constantine Maroulis is perfect in the role of "Drew". I saw Carrie St. Louis as "Sherri" and she had fantastic voice and was beautiful. Also, the theater is very small so you will have good seats no matter where you sit.

Hey guys, time is comimg close, only a week to go !
I got my off-broadway tickets, too. I got tickets for Avenue Q (have seen it on Bway but I was far back, so I couldn't pass up discount tickets for 3rd Row) and also DISENCHANTED. It looks like a lot of fun and I love new takes on Disney fairy-tales !
Thank you all so much, for contributing in shaping up what looks like an amazing January Theater trip ! Have a wonderful year, all !
