Which musical do you want to win the 2004 Tony for Best Musical?
I want the hit musical WICKED! Go WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do you think?
Wicked, because I haven't seen Avenue Q or any of the other ones nominated.
But I do love the music from Avenue Q....
But, I really can't judge because I've only seen Wicked. And besides, there are more musicals coming out before the the Tony deadline is up.

I think the nominations will be:
Wicked
Avenue Q
Caroline, or Change
Bombay Dreams
I want Ragtime, Civil War and Urinetown to win...
HAIRSPRAY again ! It still is the best show on Broadway, isn't it ? :)
But seriously, I'd love AVENUE Q to win ! I haven't seen either it or WICKED, but i much prefer AVENUE Q's cast recording.
Take care
I liked Taboo the best this year.

Wicked or Movin' Out
As much as I loved Taboo, I think it's unrealistic to hope for it to win best musical. That said, Wicked.
Let's hear it for the unreal! Luv the emcee- I really can't think of any other musical I'd like to see win, so that was my honest answer!
Wicked
lol, i'd love to see taboo win as well. so, let's hear it for the unreal! We can dream, can't we?

Wasnt Movin Out nominated last year?? That said, definitely WICKED
movin' out was definitely last year. it won best choreography and best orchestrations... maybe more but those are the ones I remember.
What do we think will be nominated for best revival?
Assassins, Fiddler and Little Shop probably. I'm not sure, is Wonderful Town a Revival?
Wicked, just like everyone else in the free world. It's impossible to escape it!
Best New Musical - Either WICKED or AVENUE Q, they're both great!!
Best Revival - WONDERFUL TOWN

I really hope LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
My guess is that Wicked will win, but who knows what Bombay Dreams will be like. I have a problem with a puppet show winning Best Musical.
Why would you have trouble with a puppet show winning Best Musical? If you thought a particular show (and it doesn't have to be Avenue Q) contained outstanding writing and an outstanding score, featured strong performances and was expertly designed, directed and choreographed, would you deny it any consideration for Best Musical because many of the actors used puppets to represent the characters?
I agree, Michael.
It'll NEVER happen, but I would love to see "Caroline or Change" win best musical. The only musical on right now that has some ambition and just isn't trying to be dippy, fizzy fun.
Q Q Q Q Q Q - Musical
Wonderful Town- Revival
Sets- Little Shop
Actress- Steph or Donna Murphy
Actor- Gregg Edelman but i have not seen OZ and hear Hugh is incredible.
Alterego- Did you see Q? It is not a puppet show and it is the most edgy, adorable show around. I also liked Wicked and Caroline Or Change. This is a tough year so much great theater and i want them all to win.
Tovah- Golda's Balcony Best actress in one woman show
I am My Own Wife- Best actor in one man show
