Thats easy, with over 30 B'way shows to her name ( Including original cast of The Lark, Member of the Wedding and I Am a Camera where she originated the role Sally Bowles) and 50 years in starring roles on Broadway, the queen should be : Julie Harris

Julie Harris. Excellent choice. This is what I meant when I said that the category has to be open to non musical actors not just those who appear in musicals. Julie Harris is another who has entertained for decades.

Queen - Julie Andrews (Though Angela Lansbury and Chita Rivera I’m also torn between)
Prince - Johnathan Groff
Princess - Laura Osnes

West End:

King - Ian McKellan
Queen - Imelda Staunton
Prince - Richard Fleeshman
Princess - Sheridan Smith

Based on the answers, I think there is a lack of clarity re the question.  Also, at least one person listed names that suggest that he is very elderly or never actually saw them perform.  I have chosen to limit things to people who are still alive and who I have seen perform).

 

KING (Working): Nathan Lane

KING (For Posterity): Nathan Lane

QUEEN (Working): Patti Lupone or Bernadette Peters

QUEEN (For Posterity): Angela Lansbury

PRINCE (Working): LMM (Hamilton has already made him a theatre legend as a writer/composer.  He has been nominated for Tony'sfor both musicals in which he has appeared)

PRINCESS (Working): Sutton Foster or Laura Osnes (hindered by the lack of new material)
