I'm thinking about it..
frapperia, did you use a site to buy your ticket? I can't seem to find any tickets less than 100...maybe I missed the boat on the cheap tickets.
You have to select a specific section of the house (the rear mezzanine) to get the $25 tickets.
Frapperia bought her ticket off me; I bought it off the Delfont Mackintosh website. And I don't suppose you'll be able to get *any* £10 tickets for the Broadway run.

Do we think there will be a student rush, or discount tickets, or are those mezz seats it for seeing this cheaply?

I think their will be a discount code and probably student rush but student rush is usually about $26.50 so if you're set on seeing the show and don't wanna risk getting/not getting student rush I'd go with the $25 seats.
Telecharge lists standing room tickets for $21.50, but the box office isn't open yet, so I can't verify that.
Box office sales started today.
I know that. I said the box office (meaning the physical office at the theater). It usually opens a few weeks after Telecharge sales start. They're the place to go to verify rush/SRO policies, since they're the ones who sell them.
EDIT: Okay, I just checked and the box office did open today. My mistake. I still haven't been able to check, though, because I haven't been into Manhattan yet today.
EDIT AGAIN: Wait, no, MARY STUART is still playing there until August 16. Theaters don't sell tickets for two shows at once. Now I'm confused.
The Broadhurst box office is selling tickets for both Mary Stuart and Hamlet at present.
Yep, my friend got us $25 tickets at the box office today for October 10th. Can't wait!
Since they're selling over 100 tickets for $25 to each performance, plus however many at $21.50 for standing room, I'm pretty sure that's it for student-friendly prices (aka most likely no student rush). There will most likely be discount codes, but that'll be around $45 at the least.
And Weez, I would be happy to give a comparison between this production and the Shakespeare in the Park production. Lauren Ambrose was to die for. (Though I preferred her as Juliet.)

Lauren Ambrose was definitely my favorite thing about the recent Shakespeare in the Park production of Hamlet. I'm also interested to see how this new production compares.

Looking forward to seeing this one - I got a ticket during the presale. In the meantime I found a DVD of Richard Burton's filmed rehearsal for his Broadway Hamlet on Amazon.
