WS had a really crazy fan base, much better songs (even I have to admit that) and didn't manage to survive a year.

A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.

Also, I believe that they will be on sale at the theatre a bit earlier than the actual release date -- on or around July 1st, or so the rumor goes.

Got the e-mail saying mine was shipped too, so I'm expecting it tomorrow or monday I guess. SO excited.
And to whoever said "The Wedding Singer" had better songs, I have to GREATLY disagree. The Wedding Singer's score, IMHO, is horrible.
However, I do wish TWS a long future life touring, regional, or otherwise, and Legally Blonde a well-deserved long Broadway run.

Is the CD going to be available at the theater starting July 1st? If so, I'll just get the CD when I go July 7th to see the show, if they're not selling it, I'll order online.

sing-dance-love, i got my email too and i am pumped to get the cd also. It was either shipped out today or yesterday, my mom got the email even though i am 21, i asked her if i can preorder it the day be4 my bday this month so sh said yes. so eveything is in her name except mine package of the cd. I love my mom for that. i cnt wait to hear it over and over again.

If the songs you've heard don't do anything for you the show just may not be your thing, however, for ME, its extremely worth it. I found the music and show as a whole, to be infectious, ridiculously fun, and bursting with energy. With a few truly touching moments.
I'd say give it a chance.
