I think I may buy this cast recording. I am usually not into "fluffy" shows but just judging from the backstage video, the songs are quite catchy and fun.

yeah they do. i am excited 2 see the show. the cast recording will be avaiable at the theatre. i love da whole cast which includesthe ensemble. you can go on and on about each of them.

Ohmigod !!! You Guys !!!! Guess what I just got today (monday 6/14 ) in my mail?



(FYI- I got an email confirmation Friday - then I got it today - Monday-of course Im in Boston , it came from NYC) I am downloading it right now on my iTunes!!

they started selling the CD at the theater on Friday night

the official release date is July 17th - i think it's supposed to be on itunes around then

but if you pre-order it with sh-k-boom i believe they're shipping them out starting today!!! it's great i'm so happy to have my copy. as always, sh-k-boom put out a great product!!

Mine arrived today. I'm listening for the second time. Glad to hear that Ireland now ends with a sung verse. In SF, it ended with Paulette yelling something about shoes and that robbed her of a big finish. Anyway, the CD sounds great and there is a booklet with pictures and lyrics. The last track has an extra added sequence so don't cut it off until it finishes (after some dead air).

Theres no extra track on the cd.

CATS, are you listening to the actual CD (as in, purchased from Sh-K Boom or at the theatre) or the leaked Tony voters version? Because the additional track (well, its not technically an additional track as it just plays after some dead air on the "Find My Way" track) is on the finished CD. I heard it tonight from a friend who bought the CD at the theatre Saturday night.

I have the actual CD from Sh-K Boom. It didn't play on my CD player or maybe I just didn't wait long enough, but I can hear it on my i-tunes now.

Is it just me or is the mix on the cd kina weird. I don't know what it is, but the orchestrations just don't sound like they are all there to me. Also the vocals get kind of lost in the mix. Maybe it was just the eq on the stereo i was listening to it on though...

i got the CD in the mail and i have to say that i enjoy the song "Serious" a lot more than i did in the theatre.

i still hate all the other songs though

Why was the "Bend & Snap " song (from OBCR) had a little cut from the one they had on their myspace.com sample... (is that the leaked version ???)

The Intro dialogue was cut.... Too bad ! I love to hear Leslie Kritzer saying.... "you got the pom-poms..its time to shake 'em ... READYY !!! - what happened to that dialogue??

I don't like the recording on some songs...including the OPENING NUMBER and SO MUCH BETTER the songs that were done for the workshop sound so much better than the recording....for some reason the songs are the recording are not as energetic at all....they seem bland on this recording

Does anyone know where I can find the SAMPLE recording again...the one they used on the website and that was handed out...I had it but when I download the new recording on my ITUNES...it recorded over them since they were the same songs and show...please IM me with that info...thanks
