Today, I got 2 Playbills from White Christmas; one signed, the other blank. ALso, I got a signed headshot from Diana DeGarmo. She spelled my name wrong though. :/ Oh well, I still love her.

I got response from Santino Fontana. He signed the Billy Elliot flyer I enclosed and an A View From the Bridge Playbill. He wrote his return address on the package. I love it when people do that.
Heyy did Aaron Tveit ever send back mail when he was in N2N, and did Kyle ever over the summer? Thanks!
---just got a personalized playbill from Jessica Phillips of N2N---love her!!
I recently got a playbill signed by the cast and Kyle Dean Massey signed the playbill, so I'm pretty sure he does respond.

I sent to Aaron a few weeks before he left and still nothing. Does anyone think he still will respond?
From what I've heard, he doesn't anymore.

Damn, well I wasted money on him. Oh well..
Does anyone know the address I could reach Anika Larsen? I would try New World Stages but Sarah Stiles is going to be the new Kate Monster/Lucy. Any does anyone know why she left early? The off-Broadway production hasn't even run for a whole year yet.
The Off-Broadway production may not have been there that long but she has been with the show for a while now. I'm sure she needs a break.

has anyone sent to the cast of Rent currently on tour?
What are the odds I will be getting my playbill back signed by the cast of Shrek now? I sent it a little under a month ago and haven't gotten anything.

wdwfreak - I sent to Shrek in September and got nothing back, but that was becuase I just started sending fanmail and put wrong sized SASE's. Then I sent to Haven Burton in Novemeberand still got nothing. But I have heard people of getting stuff back. So maybe Shrek play favorites. IDK. :/

Today I got a signed playbill from Nathan Lane. Turnaround was an amazing Tuesday to Friday (but then again I live in Chicago).
Still waiting on In The Heights cast. Sent it to their stop after Chicago. It seems some people have had luck with that.

I got a headshot from Sutton Foster today! :) I wrote to her a while ago, she sent it out on Jan 4th, the day after Shrek closed. She must just now have time to go through her fan mail. But I'm excited I finally got my new headshot! :)
Catalana that makes me happy that Nathan responded because I saw Addams Family tuesday night and tonight and he didnt come out (I figured he wouldnt) and so I plan to write when the show hits NYC. Im also writing to Angela and Leigh Ann next week so heres hoping for good stuff but its sounding like Angela has been really good about responding.
Does anybody know if the cast of Burn the Floor has returned anything back? I know the show closed today and was wondering if I am hopign for something that will never come.
LOL, I only sent a letter of appreciation to a star once in my life : it was to Blythe Danner.
I wanted to say "Thank you" for the TV series "Presidio Med", and that I liked her role best in it, cuz it came closest to reality which was for a large part due to her acting.
Unfortunately, feeling pretty stupid for writing kind of a fan-letter at mý age (let's just say I'm middle-aged, LOL) I also did my best to convince her I wasn't a weird fan of hers, my letter would be a one off, and I didn't need a letter back.
I guess thát must have marked me as a weird fan already, (or maybe the fact I'm from the Netherlands,LOL), I expect her office didn't even send it on to her. ;=)

I wonder if Nathan Lane will ignore the crowds in NY too. I saw a small group of people waiting near the door where he comes out and I opted to get the whole cast to sign my poster and send him a playbill, although it would have been nice to meet him in person.
Today I got back a signed playbill from some of the cast of Memphis and the whole cast of Avenue Q. They both took around 2 weeks.
In the past week, I've recieved:
-White Christmas and Gypsy signed playbills from Tony Yazbeck
-White Christmas and A Chorus Line signed playbills from Mara Davi and Tony Yazbeck
-Next to Normal off-Broadway signed by the cast from Jesica Phillips
-Next to Normal playbill signed by Jessica Phillips
-Xanadu signed flyer and note from Anika Larsen
-Xanadu and Cry Baby signed flyers from Elizabeth Stanley

Question from a newbie!
What size envelope do you send as your SAFE?
Understudy Joined: 4/14/09
Really? This question always surprises me. The SASE should be as big as what you want back. If you only want a small picture, then the SASE could be small. If you only want a Playbill, then the SASE should fit a Playbill. Clearly, you shouldn't send a regular sized envelope as a SASE if you want a Playbill.
So, I've never written before either. I understand that you have to send a SASE that will fit the playbill (already bought it!). Maybe this is common sense, but how big does the envelope (the one the SASE goes in) have to be? & what type of paper do I use to ask for a playbill (stationary, lined, typed).
Excuse my ignorance. But I have never written to anyone via snail mail in my life. I know I'm pathetic, but I'm all technology here. sorry!
