Today I checked the mail to find a bittersweet surprise. I got a reply from Side Show! They sent me a cast signed playbill, and got most of the cast to sign my Kennedy Center playbill and got Emily and Erin to sign my La Jolla program.

Anyone know the policies at Cabaret, Aladdin and Gentleman's Guide for a signed playbill? I obviously will send a SASE but was curious if any required a BC/EFA donation. No problem donating, would just like to do the whole thing in one letter instead of hearing back to send again.

jjohnson5, I sent to Aladdin right after previews and they sent me a cast signed playbill, and I didn't donate. I also sent to Gentleman's Guide about 6 months ago and they also sent me a cast signed playbill and I didn't donate. I don't know if their polices have changed.

Cabaret is requesting a minimum donation of $20 for a cast signed playbill. This was just recently, but before Emma joined, they did not require a donation.

When might be a good time to write Helen Mirren for The Audience? And what's the response for A Delicate Balance? Are they requesting donations as well?

A couple days ago I got a reply from Kate Baldwin! I wrote to her when she was at Paper Mill with Can-Can. She signed my Mille CD cover, my Big Fish CD cover, and a few photos!

Today I came home to a cast signed playbill from "The Last Ship". A very nice way to end the week!

Heard back from Andy Mientus today. He signed the playbill I sent and wrote a nice short note. Took about a month. Anyone know the address for the Public. I want to send mail to some of the cast of Hamilton. Anyone else tried yet?

Could someone compile a master list of the shows that are requesting donations and the ones that are not? Also, has anyone ever sent in requests to shows at The Public or Classic Stage Company? Any response?

Not necessary, as I think gleek is creating an iPhone app that will send mail on your behalf to every currently running show with one click, and it will ask if you want to do the BC/EFA donation when you select shows that want them...

I got a playbill from the stage managers of You can't take it with you today. I sent it back in september right before they opened. It looks like it's signed by everyone but Annaleigh...which is fine because I ended up seeing the show and she signed my playbill at the stage door. The only requests I still have out there are to James Monroe Iglehart and Lena Hall. Was thinking of trying the cast of Hamilton

Has anyone written to Kara Lindsay in Wicked on Broadway and received a response yet? I'm sure she has a lot of fan mail but was just curious to see if anyone had success with her yet.
