"The same thing happened with Violet. Got my stuff back, but no cast signed playbill or donation request."
Isn't it expecting a lot for them to honor all of these individual requests and know they are meant to send you a playbill signed by everyone as well?

All I was saying is that when they don't send a playbill, they ask for a donation. Violet nor The Last Ship did either. I just thought it was odd is all. I'm very grateful that stage management even takes the time to fulfill fan mail requests, on top of their already long list of things to attend to. Whenever I write to a stage manager I make sure to thank them for their time and praise them for everything they do for a production.

My point was that there is a good possibility that since you are sending them old stuff to get signed, in addition to wanting a signed playbill from the new show, that they see the stuff you sent them to get signed was for a specific actor, put it in his tray, they grab it, sign it, and pop it back into the SASE, and that's the end of it. They may have no clue there are multiple requests in the one letter.
So, the stage manager reads enough of the letter to put it in Fred's basket, Fred gets two things to sign and a SASE. He signs them, put them into the SASE, and puts it in the outgoing mail tray. That seems pretty plausible without it being related to BC/EFA or anything.

Lol. I made a joke today that the post office must dread me coming because it takes 15 - 20 minutes to get everything ready to send (I address everything beforehand).

Has anyone ever written to cast members who are in rehearsal for a show at the Public, but the show is not yet open? Will they receive it?

Has anyone sent a cast signed playbill request to It's Only A Play? Did you receive a response?
"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage."
