It took almost 2 months, I sent the email on July 28. and I honestly wasn't expecting anything, and true, I still feel bad though.

Today I heard from Angela Lansbury :)
She even sent two pictures! Only one was personalized. I asked for it for my mother for my birthday. She sent me letter back too..which I found kind of odd.

You all were talking about how to save stamps that were not marked, i didnt see this thread till today so if you guys still dont know how to save those I will tell you.
I used to collect so I read alot about to get them off the envelope.
When you get something back and the stamp is not used cut the stamp off of the envelpe, leave about 1/4 in around it, then after you have it cut off put it in some water, let it set in the water for about 5 mins, dont put it stamp side down, put the paper sod down, after it had sat in the water for a while the paper from the envelope shoud come off, if it doesn't come off easy out it back in the water got a little longer.
After you have gotten the paper off the back, put in on a towel and fold one side of the towel over the stamp and put a book or something on top, then let it dry.
All you have to do id glue it on the next envelope you send out.
Hope that helped some.

I heard from Lenny Wolpe. He sent a headshot with a nice message written on it. The weird thing is he also included many advertisements for a cruise to alaska.. it was odd.

I ended up in an e-mail conversation with Stephen Schwartz about the recording of "Wicked" in 2003 and 4 days later, I found an autographed copy of the CD from him in my mailbox. What a nice surprise!

I got a signed photo from Matthew Broderick a few days ago (sent it to The Odd Couple when it was open).
Although he must not have liked the way I folded my envelope since it was sent back in a different one.

Is anyone else waiting on Derrick Baskin? I sent it out about 6 months ago. Maybe he'll wait until he leaves the show to get everything out like Celia did. That's when I sent hers too. I'm just worried because I sent my "Aida" playbill for him to sign and it's my only copy!

I sent Daniel a letter exactly five months ago today. I don't think I'm getting anything back, lol.
I think, but I can't be sure that the other boys (Bobby and Christian) are good with their fanmail.

she signed a headshot, and wrote me a letter on her MAMMA-MIA! stationary thanking me for the "Carolee cartoon" i drew for her which she hung on her dressing room door, and said she feels bad that the LESTAT recording isnt being released
i would post pictures, but my mom threw it away once i brought it inside, so yeah

I have written multiple emails to JLY.
I also just wrote to Hunter, but I haven't gotten anything back yet. But I did only send it on Tuesday/Wednesday.
I also write to the Altar Boyz on myspace. (Jason Celaya and Andrew C. Call) They are really nice and awesome too. :)

this might sound awkward but i write to understudies if they were really good
i saw Matthew Scott as Tommy DeVito In Jersey Boys and he was just glowing. he was just as great as Christian (Hoff)
so i wrote him a letter telling him how great he was.
about 2 or 3 weeks later i got this really big envelope with a playbill signed by all the cast members and one of those slips that are in the playbll that say he played the role
i got the cutest letter from him
it was beyond sweet

Has anyone tried writing the SF Bee cast? I'm thinking of writing them while they're still in Boston but I'm not sure.
