Does anyone know if Hamilton charges anything for a blank playbill? Also how should I address the letter if I am sending it to the stage door manager?

Not sure about the charge (I don't think any show charges for a blank playbill, and I can't imagine Hamilton doesn't have oodles going spare), but I would just use the old-fashioned "To whom it may concern" for addressing the letter. Avoids any issues related to gender (ie, "Dear Sir/Madam" and is pretty standard.
After months of waiting, I finally got a reponse back from Will Roland!!! I sent him some art back in the beginning of March, and I received it today, signed by him! What a great surprise, since I thought it was lost int he mail...

Does anyone know how to write Nathan Lane and Andrew Garfield in Angels in America? I can’t find the address anywhere and does anyone know if they respond?
Hi all!
Dropping off a donation tomorrow for a cast signed "The Boys in the Band" Playbill. Will let you all know if I hear back/the outcome. *Fingers Crossed*
Anyone else try "Boys" yet? Catch wind of them asking for a specific amount for a donation? Etc.
Thank you! :)

For future reference, just use the address on Google. I always see you post about being unable to find the address anywhere, but you can easily find it with one Google search.

I wrote a letter and sent a photo and sase for Jim parsons back at the start of May and I haven’t heard back as of yet.
Heard back from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and received a cast-signed playbill (signed on the Part I playbill). It took a couple months, but I was so happy to receive it.

Congrats on hearing back - enjoy the playbills! I think you are the first to confirm that Cursed Child is sending out signed play bills. Did you send a donation?

Nope. No donation. I was surprised.
Can I asked what address you used for Cursed Child?Would love to gift a playbill to my very huge potter fan best friend. I got to see the show but she wasn't able to :)
I also assume you did the usual letter plus a return envelope? Thanks!"

Heard back from Saint Joan. Took about two months.
Heard back from Puffs and Angels in America / both cast-signed playbills. Puffs took 5 months (and my letter was featured on their Instagram account — no donation), and Angels in America took just 2 weeks (minimum $40 donation to BCEFA)

Anyone gotten anything from Barrett Wilbert Weed? She recently posted on Instagram that she’ll never reply to DMs on social media but will always reply to
Letters.
I feel bad for her because her fans are rabid

Sent Taylor Trensch a birthday card and received a signed playbill back Monday or Tuesday. Took about 10 days. I forgot to give to him at stage door a few weeks ago so I mailed it. I included a SASE with the card and said if you would like to send something back, surprise me and received a playbill with a sweet note. Still waiting for Katharine McPhee to send a signed playbill and JMI to send a signed playbill from November. We missed him at Hamilton stage door.

Do any shows increase the donation amount after the Tony's or anything like that?

I wrote to JMI over a year ago and haven't heard a response lol
Not sure if this counts (since this thread is mainly about written replies in the mail), but I wrote to Chilina Kennedy a few weeks ago, and got a DM from her on Instagram a few days later!

Not relevant to Broadway or theater at all, but I sent a birthday card to Queen Elizabeth II in April and got a personalized response from her Lady-in-Waiting, Dame Annabel Whitehead, today.

Moriah3, how long did it take to hear back? I want to write to Laurie but with the show closing on the 24th I want to make sure I have enough time for it to get to her if I can't get to the post office until Monday.

Does anyone have advice for writing to a touring cast? If I’m hoping to try to get a full cast signed playbill, can I write to the “stage manager” and address it to one of the tour stops in the same way people do when they write to Broadway houses? Or is the stage manager different at different stops? Thanks for any advice!
