It’s the same principle as writing to a Broadway show. The stage manager tours with the show, but, if it were a different one for a certain stop, that shouldn’t matter because your request is being delivered to whoever holds the position.

Received a pride playbill from Come From Away today. I sent out a letter just for the plain pride playbill, so I’m very happy.

They accept cash and checks.

Has anyone ever tried to write to productions overseas? How do you arrange the SASE for international shipping? Just the usual with putting enough stamps to cover return postage?

Sent fanmail to the Waitress stage manager about 2 months plus a donation requesting a playbill signed by Katharine and the cast. Just recieved a response today, they sent me a handwritten note saying tehy don’t have any playbills signed by the current cast.

 

Also, I sent fanmail to Garrett Long recently and sent her a playbill to sign. She sent it back signed by the whole cast except for 2 members!

I wrote to MK Morrissey (Elphaba on the Wicked tour) and it took about 3 weeks for her to get back to me. She sent a signed press shot with a note on the back saying that she read my letter and some other stuff. Life made :)

I would like to send a note to Lindsay Mendez and Christy Altomare but I've never seen them in their roles on stage - only seen them in videos on YouTube or their vlogs on Broadway.com. I was going to write my notes talking about the things listed above. I just don't know if I should still ask for a photo or playbill. If I ask for a photo, what kind of envelope should the SASE be? It's been a while since I've written to individuals - the last time was when I was in charge of creating things for the cast of Great Comet.

Just recieved a cast-signed playbill from The Bands Visit! It’s a Pride one and took exactly a week. Very happy about this response because I finally completed my collection of full cast signed playbills from the 2018 Best Musical Tony nominees!

Has anyone heard back from The Boys in the Band? I’m curious if they ask for a donation. Lastly, I’d love to send to Matt Bomer but not sure if he replies. Has anyone heard back from him?
