Has anyone tried to write the cast of TWELFTH NIGHT?

I wrote to Anne Hathaway & Audra McDonald c/o the Delacorte Theater about 10/11 days ago, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. I don't really expect to either, but it's worth a shot.

I just got a signed 9 to 5 Playbill from Stephanie J. Block. It was inscribed "get to work" and while I assume it has something to do with 9 to 5 being a workplace show...it still seems an odd thing to write. However, it's from SJB and I couldn't be happier!

Does anyone know if Gavin Creel replies to his FaceBook messages? I sent him one today.
"There's nothing good on. The media hates Christmas. The media loves vampires, though. Maybe they will show a Twilight Christmas."

Ok, ok...I finally registered and have a stupid newbie first post. This might be covered somewhere in this thread, but over 80 pages to go through...
Does anyone know how much postage should go on an envelope with a playbill in it?
If you want more than one cast member to sign it, do you keep sending it back and forth to different people or do you address it to someone else at the theater?

The amount of postage depends on where you live. I live in PA, and it is only 2 stamps for the SASE. Just send a letter to the stage manager asking for a cast signed playbill.

Just got a playbill signed by the cast of Hair - now I've gotten all my envelopes back!
If people have split views about your work, I think it's flattering. I'd rather have them feel something about it than dismiss it.

She wrote the same thing on my playbill! lol I thought she was saying that to me because I was an adult writing her fan mail, but I'm relieved to know she puts it on all of the ones she sends out.

When you would like a signed playbill from the whole cast, would you normally just send a note and SASE and address it to the stage manager?

^
I either address it to the stage manager or "the cast and crew". Both have worked for me. Good luck! :)

Just got mail back from Laura Bell Bundy. I gave her an envelope after the show (Wednesday) with a few pictures in them and she sent it out and I got it back today (Friday)
She was so sweet too.

So you can really just send things to whomever you wish at the theatre they're currently performing and if you're lucky, they'll send it back? What happens if you don't get it back? What about those not currently performing?
Going to NYC for the 1st (real) time! Seeing Next to Normal, Wicked, and Jersey Boys. If anyone has a suggestion for rush Wednesday matinee (something not mainstream) please PM me! :D

Yes, but I usually just stick to photos, but yo also send cd inserts or somethin that can be easily mailed. You can also request signed playbills. I have had great success from sending things and requesting playbills.
For those not currently performing, you can send things to their agencies or some of them have P.O boxes for fanmail.
good luck.
