Oh great. Do you know what i shold send out with my letter like a sae or someting
I've never done anything like this because I live a block away from all the theaters, really, but for those that do this regularly what do you think the odds are of sending a poster for A STEADY RAIN and getting it returned?

jamiekennywicked--- no problem :) You will want to send at least a SAE, but to better your chances of getting something back I send a SASE.
Jordan--Since you live close to the theaters I would just go by the stage door and try to get signatures....It would be quicker, easier, and cheaper. Another suggestion would to just drop it off at the SD and maybe leave a note with the stage manager asking to get it signed and then go and pick it up.

I have seen a couple recent successes from Alice, so it seems she is catching up on mail.
I talked to Alice (via facebook...I know) and she said she sent it out about 2 weeks ago and they sent it back because It didn't have enough postage. She said she was sending it out this week with "An extra suprize" ...not gonna lie...i'm probably gonna squeel when I get it.

Lucky! I can't wait to hear what it is!
amiekennywicked - Megan Hilty definitely replies back, and in a week or less too. She sent me her 9 to 5 promo, but if you request a playbill instead I'm sure she'll send you one.
I received from Megan, SJB, and Allison Janney all in about a week (I sent them out the same day). Now I got a trio of their 9 to 5 pictures to add to my collection. And also Nicole Parker replied back in a little over a week with two of her Wicked shots - very nice!
Anyone know where I can write Carol Channing? I'll never get to meet her so I want to write her. Thanks

Carol will only sign through the mail now for a donation, but I am pretty sure if you send your own photo, she will sign.

EEEEEEEEEEP!P!P!P!P!!!!! AHHH. Ok, so, today was a great day. After a Sh!!y day at work I come home to find the following. An Envelope I wrote my name on and address, no return, my envelope I sent to Megan Hilty (a bit sad after I opened it) and A letter from no return address. I Thought that letter was something a friend was sending, but actually it was this.
Needless to say I'm in heaven right now.

Today I finally got a cast playbill back from Shrek. It took forever...about two months. No Sutton signature though...=(
Webman
if u live in New York I would suggest waiting before a show to see Sutton (trust me its the best time..)
I would get their about a hour before curtain because by requirments they have to be IN THE THEATRE 30 minutes prior.
I have met Sutton 4 times and every time she has been the nicest she can possibly be.
She has taken videos, pictures, and even signed my playbills.
she really is a great person just sometimes after shows she is tired and just wants to go home
I agree with "saveusmike" Sutton is a dream before the show. She's everything you could ask for.
Webman....If you can't make it to the show, mail that Playbill directly to Sutton at the Theatre. It may take her a while, but she will sign it and send it back.
